Ava's pov

Willa rushed in first bee-lining for Abby, who was shocked by that.

"Baby check!"

"Willa, Aunt Annie checked last week. We don't have to check every night." El sighed. "You're making Abby uncomfortable."

Abby waved him off as she continued to let Willa feel the belly. "My offer still stands to go to my time if you want the gender checked."

Abby laughed, "no no, I want it to be a surprise. I already take those... prenatal things you gave me a bunch of,"

Willa shook her head before going to take her seat where she always sits as she sits she looks up and sees Evelin sitting at the head of the table.... Where I usually sit. Sebastian went to grab the extra chair we had in the shed outside.

"Who.."

"An intruder," Giselle muttered. She seemed to have been keeping her eyes trained on Eve.

"Giselle," I warned.

"That's mum's spot," Andre said in between bites. "Mum this is amazing."

"Yeah El made it was magic, he was showing off again." I smiled. El smiled confidently as Andre side eyed him. "And it's okay, she can sit there. I'll sit by your father."

Evelin perked up as Sebastian walked in with the extra chair. "I can move," she said a little too eagerly making every kid turn their head to look at her. I even didn't hold back from making my head snap up. She looked around and sat back in her chair.

Sebastian saw me waiting and got a big smile, "what a wonderful surprise! I get to sit by you?" He placed the seat down and pulled it back for me to sit in.

As everyone started eating again Anne walked out of my room with some fwooper feathers in her hair. "Anne?" I asked as she sat next to Willa, quickly doing a double take at Eve as she sat down. "Did you open the box?"

"I don't want to talk about it," Willa giggled while pulling feathers out of her girlfriend's hair.

"I'm Evelin, by the way," Eve said to Willa.

Willa stopped and looked at her. Oh god what was she thinking about....

"Evelin?" Willa clarifies. "You mean the German version of... Ava?" Everyone stops eating and looks at me. "Your birth name is Aveline right?" Willa asks me, once again proving she knows way too much about me.

"I think I've only had one person call me that my entire life." I said shyly. I had done everything in my power to erase that actually. It reminded me of my mother...

"Aveline?" Sebastian asks.

"Oh you weren't supposed to ever hear that. She's a super fan." Willa giggles as if it's a compliment.

"They are the same name.." El says trying to add fuel to the fire. "Same meaning and everything."

"Guys I can't be the only Ava in the world," I tried to calm everyone down.

We had at least five minutes of peace before Anne started again. "So Cerus opened the door for you?" She asked Eve.

"Where is Cerus?" Andre asked looking around.

"He's visiting next week. Second week of school." I said before taking a bite.

"...no? First week. After the housing ceremony. It's the first week of school." Eleazar added making Sebastian and I stop eating.

"Well, he let Evelin through," Giselle sneered.

"Did he say anything to you?" Sebastian asked her.
