Days had passed since Jungkook treated Taehyung's child, yet the lingering sensation of the bond he felt between them grew stronger. Jungkook's heart raced every time he thought about the alpha, his mind unable to shake the memory of their brief but intense connection. It was strange—unnatural, almost. And yet, it felt like the most natural thing in the world.

It was late one evening when Jungkook decided to look deeper into the matter. He sat in his private study, poring over ancient texts that had been passed down through generations of healers. These books contained knowledge of bloodlines, bonding rituals, and the deep connection between fated mates. Though the subject of fated mates had always fascinated him, Jungkook had never imagined that he might experience it firsthand.

With a trembling hand, he opened an old tome that detailed the magical signatures of fated bonds. His mind swirled with doubt—how could he possibly be connected to Taehyung, the alpha leader of the entire Eunoia clan? They were worlds apart. But the pull was too strong to ignore.

Jungkook laid out a ritual designed to reveal the bond between fated mates, one that would identify whether a bond existed between him and Taehyung. With the flick of his wrist, he summoned a few necessary ingredients—moonstone, lavender, and a piece of fabric that had touched Taehyung (taken from the hospital during the child's examination).

As he chanted the ancient words of the ritual, a soft glow began to emanate from the moonstone. His heart raced as the glow intensified, swirling with energy. Then, with a sudden burst of light, a symbol appeared before his eyes: the mark of fated mates.

Jungkook staggered back in shock, his heart pounding in his chest. It was real. He and Taehyung were fated mates.

As the realization washed over him, Jungkook couldn't help but feel a mixture of emotions. Relief that the connection was real, fear of what this revelation would mean for Taehyung and the clan, and an overwhelming sense of yearning.

But there was more. As the magic settled, a second revelation struck him like a bolt of lightning. The child—Taehyung's son—did not carry the alpha's magical signature. The boy was not Taehyung's biological child.

The room spun as Jungkook's mind raced to process the truth. Jennie had lied. The child wasn't Taehyung's.
