Chapter 19: Secrets Revealed

After the rogues were driven back, the clan gathered to assess the damage. Many were wounded, but thankfully, there were no casualties. Taehyung and Jungkook were exhausted, but their focus remained on the safety of their son.

Jungkook's mind raced as he thought about the shadowy figure. He knew they had come for Hyun, but why? What did they want with his son?

"We need answers," Jungkook said, pacing back and forth in the council chambers. "That figure... they weren't just a rogue. There was something ancient about them."

Taehyung nodded, his expression grim. "They were using magic. The kind that hasn't been seen in centuries."

Namjoon and Seokjin, who had joined them after the battle, exchanged worried glances. "It's possible they're connected to the same bloodline as Hyun," Namjoon said quietly. "If that's true, then they might be trying to awaken something in him—something powerful."

Jungkook's stomach twisted at the thought. He had always known that Hyun was special, but now it seemed that his son was at the center of something much bigger, something dangerous.

"We need to find out more about this bloodline," Taehyung said, his voice hard with determination. "And we need to figure out why they're after Hyun."

Seokjin, who had been studying the ancient texts alongside Jungkook, suddenly spoke up. "There's something we haven't considered yet. What if Hyun isn't the only one? What if there are others with this ancient bloodline, and they're trying to gather them all for some larger purpose?"

The room fell silent as everyone processed Seokjin's words.

Jungkook's heart raced. If there were others like Hyun, then the danger was far greater than they had imagined. He looked at Taehyung, his eyes filled with fear. "What if this is just the beginning?"

That night, after the council meeting, Taehyung and Jungkook returned to their chambers. Hyun was already asleep, unaware of the chaos that had unfolded outside. As they sat together in the quiet of their room, Jungkook couldn't shake the feeling that their lives were about to change forever.

"We'll protect him," Taehyung said softly, his hand resting on Jungkook's. "No matter what."

Jungkook nodded, but deep down, he knew that the threats they faced were far more dangerous than they could have ever anticipated. The prophecy was real, and Hyun was at the center of it.
