Chapter 14: A Journey into the Past

The days that followed were filled with quiet research and investigation. Jungkook delved into the ancient texts stored in the clan's archives, searching for any clue that could explain the strange magic Hyun had displayed. Taehyung reached out to his most trusted advisors, trying to piece together the fragments of Jennie's past that could shed light on the mystery.

One evening, Taehyung received a visit from his closest friends—Yoongi, Hoseok, and Jimin. The trio had long been his most trusted allies, and they offered their help in any way they could.

"Do you think it could be connected to another clan?" Yoongi asked, his sharp eyes scanning the texts laid out before them.

"It's possible," Taehyung replied. "But I don't think this is just about another clan. This feels...bigger. Like it's tied to something much older."

Jungkook, who had been quietly reading through an old manuscript, suddenly spoke up. "There's something here," he said, pointing to a passage in the text. "It talks about a forgotten bloodline. A lineage that was said to possess ancient, almost god-like powers."

Taehyung leaned over, reading the passage. His heart skipped a beat as he realized what Jungkook was implying.

"You think Hyun could be part of this bloodline?" Taehyung asked, his voice low.

Jungkook nodded slowly. "It's possible. Jennie may have lied about the child's father, but she couldn't have hidden this. If Hyun carries the blood of this forgotten lineage, it would explain the power he's starting to show."

The room fell into a tense silence as the weight of the revelation settled over them. If Hyun was truly connected to an ancient bloodline, it would change everything.

"We need to be careful," Jimin said softly, breaking the silence. "If this is true, there could be others who know about it. Others who might want to use him."

Taehyung's protective instincts flared at the thought. He wouldn't let anyone harm his son—or Jungkook. He turned to Jungkook, his expression resolute.

"We'll protect him," Taehyung said, his voice filled with determination. "No matter what."

Jungkook nodded, his hand slipping into Taehyung's. "We'll face whatever comes. Together."

As the mystery surrounding Hyun deepened, so did the bond between Taehyung and Jungkook.
