Days passed, and the tension within the clan grew thicker with each passing hour. Jungkook kept a close eye on Hyun, who seemed oblivious to the danger surrounding him. The boy was still innocent, unaware of the prophecy that had sealed his fate. But as his powers continued to manifest, Jungkook noticed a change in him—small, subtle, but unmistakable.
Hyun's once-bright eyes now held a flicker of something darker, and his temper had become more unpredictable. One morning, during a training session with the other pups, Hyun had accidentally hurt another child with a sudden burst of power. Jungkook had been there to stop it, but the damage was done.
"He's losing control," Jungkook whispered to Taehyung later that evening as they sat together by the fire. "His powers are growing too fast."
Taehyung frowned, his expression troubled. "It's the curse, isn't it?"
Jungkook nodded, his heart aching. "I don't know how to stop it. I'm trying to teach him control, but it's like the power is too much for him to handle."
Taehyung reached out, taking Jungkook's hand in his. "We'll find a way. Together."
But as the days went on, Jungkook's fear grew. The prophecy, the curse, the dark power inside Hyun—it was all becoming too real. And the shadowy figure from the rogue attack still haunted his dreams, watching from the darkness, waiting to strike.
One afternoon, as Jungkook was helping Hyun with his lessons, the boy suddenly stopped and looked up at him, his eyes wide with fear.
"Appa," Hyun whispered, "there's something wrong."
Jungkook's heart raced. "What is it, baby?"
Hyun pointed toward the forest, his small hand trembling. "There's someone there. Watching."
Jungkook followed his son's gaze, his body tensing as he scanned the tree line. For a moment, he saw nothing. But then, just at the edge of his vision, he caught a glimpse of movement—too fast, too quiet to be a rogue.
Jungkook's blood ran cold. Whoever it was, they were powerful. And they were after Hyun.
