Today Anna has her last final, which means she will be done with her education today. I am so excited for her. I have planned with her sister for me to surprise her after her final, normally family comes to congratulate you and drink champagne, therefore Mathilda thought it would be nice to have me there. I travelled with Jake, which Andrew said I have to.
This month we will also be celebrating our one-year anniversary, which really is in May, but because Anna had to study, again for her finals she did not have the time to celebrate. Therefore, we postponed the anniversary.
There is a knock on my hotel door so I open it revealing Mathilda, "I am here to pick you up" she says as she hugs me. We walk out and I knock on Jake's door getting him to come with us. We drive to the university and find the rest of Anna's family. Her dad, grandparents and her best friend Emma were there already. We greet them and wait for Anna to come out, it feels like forever before she comes out. All of a sudden, the door opens and out comes Anna with a huge smile on her face.
She greets everyone who showed up and they all congratulate her, until her eyes find mine and she starts crying. "Congratulations honey" I say as I hug her, when we pull away she kisses me. It has been 6 months since we last saw each other, but we did talk almost every day on the phone, we have both been busy I have been at the studio working on my new album and Anna has been studying. We hug for a while, before we pull away to find her whole family staring at us. "Congratulations" Jake says extending his hand, but per usual Anna does not care and goes in for a hug. We walk outside in the sun and take some photos and drink champagne.
