Anna's POV

I wake up to my alarm at 6 am, today I am skipping my run and having a rest day. I get up and get ready, so that I can get to work.

"Bye guys have a nice weekend," I say hugging both Maria and Andrew. I kneel down to the boys "I will see you guys tonight or tomorrow morning. Being that I have to work until 5 pm, my date, Oliver, is going to pick me up from work and then we are going out to dinner at 6 pm.

---

Today is going to be a long day at work, I have so much I need to get done today. If not all my tasks are done today we will exceed some very important deadlines, this is also why I have to stay at work until 5 pm. James is supervising me, because this is still a student job, so he is staying late as well. Luckily, the long and busy workday will keep my thoughts off my date tonight. Instead of bringing a change of clothes for my date, I decided to just put a black knit on top of my outfit, so it would be work appropriate, and could keep me warm tonight. The day goes by fast and as it is looking now, we are going to make it on time.

---

As the clock strikes 5 pm, I look at my phone to see Oliver texted me, he is here to pick me up. I texted him yesterday that I might me 5-10 minutes late depending on if we would be done on time. Luckily, we all just wanted to go home for weekend, so everyone were quite fast at their work today.

I walk out the building and see Oliver leaning against his car, wow he is very big and muscular. I smile at him, "Hello gorgeous" he says and I smile wider, very sweet. "Hello nice to finally meet you" I say and we hug. One of my new friends Jane, who I also work with set up this blind date for us. He opens the car door for me, and I get in. We drive for about 30 minutes, before arriving at a park, normally I would not walk through a park at night with a man I don't know. However, this park is well lit and there are tons of people everywhere, so no worries.

We walk around the park for about 20 minutes before we turn to walk to the restaurant. We get inside and sit down. Truth be told I looked at the menu before coming here, because I have a hard time figuring out what to get, when going out to a new place. A waiter comes to our table and Oliver takes the word, "I would like the steak with fries and instead of a side salad I would like to get a piece of grilled chicken breast. She would like a salad, and we would share you most expensive bottle of red wine" he says, the waiter looks at me and I am just as much in shock as he is. "Are you sure she wants the salad?" the waiter asks looking at me, "of course, look at her she does not need anything else" he says, "Excuse me," I say. "No babe don't get me wrong, but I am just really into being healthy" it has been a while since I have been insecure about my body. I know being a woman there are certain things your body does and grows, and I have found as long as I am healthy my size does not matter. However, I am a size small so I would not categorize myself as unhealthy or big, which he seems to be hinting at.

While we eat Oliver mainly carries the conversation, I am still too stunned to speak since his comment earlier. "Would you like some dessert?" a new waiter comes up "no look at me, do you think these muscles comes from dessert?" he yells at the waiter, and he walks away. "I will just use the restroom then I will be right back" I walk past the waiters station and mouth "I'm sorry" to the waiter. When I walk back he stops me, "you know if you need help getting away from him just tell us or give us a sign then we will help" he says and I nod "thank you, but I think I can handle him, I certainly don't plan on seeing him again" I say and he seems relieved. I walk back to the table and sit down. We talk a little more about him, like we have been doing the whole night. I look at my phone "Shit" I say trying to end the date earlier than I had hoped, "what?" he asks, "I just promised my host family to be back home at 8 pm" I say and he sighs, "fine I will drive you home".
