Chapter 22 - Christmas

Wednesday, December 14th
Anna's POV

Today Shawn is finally coming home from tour, which makes me so excited. I am currently getting dinner ready for when he arrives, he asked if I could have it ready so we could eat, and cuddle until he falls asleep. I hear the door unlock and immediately run towards it, "welcome home" I say as I engulf Shawn into a big hug and he laughs. "I missed you honey" he says melting my heart.

"I made dinner ready," I say as we walk into the kitchen, "it smells delicious," he says hugging me from behind. We sit down and eat dinner while Shawn tells about his last part of tour for this year. "I will do the dishes while you take a shower" I say and kiss his cheek, "no darling you have done too much already" he says and I shake my head. "No you stink so you take a shower" I say making him laugh.

After Shawn's shower and me finishing the dishes, we lay on the couch to cuddle and talk for a while, "you know I hate having to leave you again" he says and kisses my forehead. "Don't darling you are having so much fun" I say and he nods, "you know I was thinking... what did we agree upon for Christmas?" I ask while tracing small figures on his bare chest. "I was hoping you would spend it here with me," he says and I nod, "I just cannot leave Mathilda alone" I answer. You see my dad has plans to spend Christmas with his new girlfriend and her family, but both her and her family does not like Mathilda and me, so I will not be leaving her alone on Christmas Eve, or her family has invited Shawn on a couple of occasions but not me. "Darling I already told you... bring her please, she is so nice to have around... and it will make you feel as if you are still spending Christmas with your family, even though we are family" he says kissing me over my whole face, and I nod. Truth be told, I already asked Mathilda to spend Christmas here, if not with Shawn's family then just the two of us together.

"I promised your mother we would visit them tomorrow" I say, I know how much Shawn loves to spend time with his family and I do not want to take that away from him, so I made sure he could see his family as soon as he got home. I have visited him a couple of times, so we have not been apart for as long as he has from the rest of his family. Soon Shawn and I are both asleep.

Thursday, December 15th

"Good morning honey," I say waking up Shawn, I know he would hate to sleep the whole day and thereby not beating the jetlag. He groans before opening his eyes to meet mine, "oh how I missed waking up to those eyes" he says making me blush, before kissing me.

"Darling I was wondering if we should start looking for apartments, while I am home," he says and I nod. I have been looking at apartments while Shawn has been on tour, but I have no idea what he wants, we also have to figure out a price. "I just want you to be happy and feel home wherever we chose" Shawn says and I nod "honestly I feel home whenever I am with you" I say winking making him laugh. "But unfortunately I have to leave for work" I say and he whimpers, "but I just got home" he says sticking out his bottom lip. "Sorry hun, but some of us have "real" jobs" I say joking, and he laughs. "You have fun... will you pick me up from work and we can drive to your parents'," I ask and he nods.

Shawn texts me that he is here, "Anna could you finish these papers for me" James asks, and I nod, "is there any way I can finish them tomorrow, I really have to leave on time today," I ask and he nods. I never leave on time, we always have so much to do, that none of us hardly ever leave on time, unless we have plans.

I run out of the office and into Shawn's car to not make us any more late. "Sorry" I say getting in the car, "no worries" Shawn says kissing me hello. "I missed you today" he says, I laugh I leave him for a couple of hours to work and he misses me. "I have to tell you something," I say excitingly, turning to watch him as he drives, he nods and squeezes my hand. "I have been asked by Chanel to be their new brand ambassador," I say and my smile is bigger than it almost ever have been before. "Really!" he says excited "darling I am so proud of you" he says kissing my hand. We stop at a red light and he leans over to kiss me, "congratulations darling" he says. "Can we just not tell anyone, I want Mathilda to one of the firsts to know" I say and he nods. After I started dating Shawn, I have gotten a lot more followers on social medias, and also started doing some brand deals. This work with Chanel is honestly a dream come true, that I never thought would happen.
