Tessa shot up, tears running down her face. The girl looked towards the empty space beside her.

"Daddy!" Her screams filled the house, "daddy!" By the time John got up the stairs and to his bed room, Tessa was hysterical.

"Tess." John got her attention, She jumped up throwing herself into his arms.

"Where'd you go?" She questioned sobbing

"I'm sorry, sweetheart." John apologies putting a hand around her holding her close. They'd had yet another rough night and didn't want to wake her, but had things to do. Thinking she would've been alright he had only gone to the main house.

"Don't leave." She begged, refusing to let go.

"I'm right here." John reassured, "I've got you."

John took Tessa into the house, Gator brining her over a bowl of cereal.

"Thanks." She muttered

"Didn't think a kid could scream that loud." Beth commented, Tessa cries not only echoing around the cabin but the main house as well.

"Not the time." John shakes his head as Kayce walks in.

"Ride those east pastures, Kayce." John orders, "With all this rain, see if any of that clover came up."

"Yeah. It'll be easy to spot." Kayce agrees, as Jamie comes in.

"You gonna be back by tonight?" Tessa looks towards her dad worriedly.

"Doesn't... Doesn't take long to quit something, kid." John reassures, "I'll be back by noon."

"Let's go." John turns to Jamie handing over a freshly dry cleaned suit; "Here. You'll dress in the car."

John and Jamie walked out towards there car, Beth, Kayce and of course Tessa following them out. they watched as they drove out, before Kayce began heading towards the barn.

Only to be stoped by a loud scream, the same was Tate along with Tessa woke every morning. Neither had been sleeping well, which meant the rest of the house wasn't either.

"Don't say it." Beth looks towards Beth, Tessa tightly glued to her side.

"I don't have to." Beth shakes her head head, "I can't say it any better than that."

"The properties highlighted in red are the ones we've purchased." Beth explained to Bob, Tessa was asleep in the large armchair in the corner of the room.

"How much acreage total?" Bob asks

"A little over 17,000." Beth tells him

"Ooh, damn." Bob chuckled, "Good job, Beth."

"It's what you pay me to do." Beth replies unfazed

"Any of it commercially zoned?" Bob asks

"Most of the highway frontage is multi-use." Beth begins "But the corner properties, they're commercial. Why, what you thinking?"

"I want you to hold off on the conservation easements." Bob tells her

"That income offsets our tax liability." Beth replies confused

"I know, but there could be bigger income on the horizon." Bob says, "Market Equities bought Jenkins' place. Hired a hotel management group to oversee it."

"That was fast." Beth muttered sitting down beside Tessa rubbing an arm along her shoulder as she shot awake, attempting to stop a scream or shout.

"The estate didn't have a choice. He was losing six figures a month." Bob tells Beth, as Tessa grabs tightly onto her hand, "Bank was going to call the note."
