"Hey Azura," Luz whispered to her car, "Be good, I have a date!" She glanced over and winked at Amity who giggled at the other girl's goofy smile. "So princesa, d'you have any guesses on where we're going?" Amity shook her head, "No, maybe a park or a restaurant?" Luz grinned, "Wrong and wrong! Try again batata." Luz opened the car door and bowed, Amity smiled and slid into the car seat, Luz closing the door and settling in the drivers seat.

"U-uh, a store?" Amity mumbled, why the fuck was she stuttering? "Ooh, so close, hermosa." They locked eyes, Amity's going wide as saucers and Luz's scanning her up and down. Amity forced herself to tear her gaze away from the incredibly hot woman in front of her. Luz leaned over to Amity and moved her face closer to the human tomato, who squeezed her eyes shut, "You're cute when you get flustered." Luz whispered into her ear.

Amity's eyes flew open and frantically looked around, her eyes met warm, honey brown ones once again. Luz smirked, "Are you alroight, dahhling?" She said in an awful British accent, Amity giggled, "That was awful. Never do that again." Luz rolled her eyes and pulled back from Amity's space, "Fine, but only because I like you." At that moment, Amity thought her heart would burst out her chest with the way it was pounding so hard.

She was so distracted in her thoughts that she didn't even notice that Luz had started pulling out of the parking lot. "Care to guess again, hermosa?" Luz asked, "Mmm, a museum?" Amity hummed, "Hm. Kinda close, but not quite." Luz flicked her eyes over the other girl, smirking again, she placed a free hand on Amity's knee.

She heard a sharp inhale from Amity, who reached out a hand and placed it on top of Luz's. Amity moved her hand from on top of Luz's to under it, she wrapped her fingers around her hand and held them there. The car ride was silent except for a song Luz was humming. Soon, they pulled into the parking lot of an unknown building in the middle of a wooded area.

"Did you take me here to murder me?" Amity gasped, Luz laughed, "No! This is an art gallery, with my art studio in the back, thats what we're here for." Amity let out a sigh of relief before coming to a realization , "Wait, are we painting? If we are, I can't wear this!" She said, gesturing to her white cashmere sweater, Luz smiled again, "Don't worry, I have some clothes you can change into."

As they walked in, Luz waved to the girl at the front desk, who blushed a little, Amity rolled her eyes and grumbled some nonsense under her breath. "Hey Rachel!" Luz said as she passed a display, "Oh hey Luz! I didn't know you were coming today!" The girl, Rachel, said popping out from behind a marble statue, Luz shrugged her shoulders, "I just wanted to show my friend around." "Alright! The door's unlocked and I think no ones back there." "Thanks Rachel!" Luz called back as she dragged Amity through hallways lined with elaborate paintings and statues.

"Tada! We're here, my home away from home." Luz said as she gestured to the small room in the back, "It's not much but its pretty amazing." The room had floor to ceiling windows, letting the midday sun shine through. "I'll grab a t-shirt for you, you can change in the storage closet." Luz tossed Amity a large black shirt with the words "Bad Girl Coven" printed on it.

Amity closed the door, upon closer inspection, she noticed the shirt was littered with a variety of stains and rips. She pulled off her sweater and slipped the t-shirt on, it was surprisingly soft. Entering the main room again, Amity looked around to see Luz setting up two easels with canvases. "Hey Ams, I'm just getting set up, you can pick up some paint colors." Amity nodded and folded her sweater before gently setting it in Luz's battered messenger bag.

She scanned her eyes along the shelves full of paint, choosing a dark red, an army green, a mint green, a light lavender and a dark caramel color. Plopping the paints on the table, she started to squeeze out blobs of paint onto the palette. "Ams! Are ya ready?" Luz said, placing her hands on Amity's shoulders and giving her a scare.

Amity nodded and followed Luz to the canvases, she started painting while Luz picked out her colors, she imagined a cool fall day, the scent of citrus, and a warm campfire, all of these things reminded her of a certain someone. "What are you painting?" Luz asked, snapping Amity out of her trance, "Ooh, sorry, didn't mean to distract you." "No, its fine, and I was just thinking about what to paint." Amity responded, "Well you're doing great!" Luz chirped back.

After a few minutes of comfortable silence, Amity glanced over to Luz, who had a tongue stuck out and was vigorously attacking the canvas with a paint brush. Amity couldn't tell what was being painted, but she could see the form of a house being created. What stuck out the most was a big window at the front of the house, which looked like an angry red eye.

Amity turned to her own canvas, seeing only one green blob, she was kinda disappointed. "Hey Luz?" Amity asked, Luz whipped her head around so fast there was a crack, "Oh! What's wrong?" "Nothing, I was just wondering if we could play some music." Luz nodded, 'Sure, grab my phone, I'm kinda covered in paint." Amity reached for an old iPhone in a maroon case with a weird looking tube owl on the back.

"My password is xxx-xxx, and you can use Spotify." Luz watched as Amity entered the numbers, "Choose any playlist, I think I have pretty good music taste." Amity snorted, "I'll be the judge of that." Amity scrolled through the many playlists Luz had and finally landed on one, "Oh, I love Girl in Red, can I play that one?" Luz smiled, "Of course! This is probably my favorite playlist."
