Luz watched as Vee and Masha walked off, arms linked together, she snickered a little, "Hey Ams, race ya there!" She bolted off, the wind brushing past her ears and her jacket blowing with the wind. "Luz! I'm wearing heels!" Amity whined as she struggled to run after the taller girl, sure she was good at running, just not in 4 inch Mary Janes.

"Hah, I won!" Luz said triumphantly, Amity caught up to her and grumbled, "Hey, you had a head start." Luz blew a raspberry at her and grabbed her arm. "Wearing heels yet you're still short." She smiled down to Amity who rolled her eyes, "You're built like a sprinter, its not fair." "Cmon lets go before all the seats are gone."

Luz dragged Amity through the food line, throwing whatever she could find onto her plate while Amity only grabbed an apple. Sighing, she plopped down next to Vee, Masha, Willow, Hunter, and Gus who were all chatting about something, "Gus, have you met Amity yet?" She asked, the younger boy shook his head, "Nope! I've never seen her before." "Well Amity, this is Gus, he's studying art here, Hunter's his roommate. And Gus, this is Amity, she's my roommate and she's our new goalie, and she's studying some cool nerd stuff." Luz blabbed before shoving a waffle down her throat.

Amity hummed to herself before starting to eat her apple. It was a terrible apple, but it had to do. She picked at the green skin of the apple before swallowing her last bite and setting it aside. "Is that all you're gonna have?" Luz asked, "Yeah, I'm not that hungry." Amity said shrugging, "Suit yourself." Luz responded. After gulping down her last sip of orange juice, Luz dusted her hands and threw out her tray, "It's nine, we should start going to the hall." She said checking her watch. Amity tossed her apple into the bin and waved goodbye to Luz's friends who were also on their way out.

Once they arrived at the auditorium, they realized they had some time to kill before eleven, "So, do ya wanna play two truths and one lie while we wait?" Luz asked, Amity nodded "Sure, you go first." "Ok! I have four siblings, I'm bisexual, and I know martial arts." "Hmm, I don't think you're bi." Amity said, Luz laughed and smiled, "Nope! I only have two siblings! I am bisexual." "O-oh." Amity could feel herself turning into a tomato, "Yes!" She whispered, "What was that?" Luz responded, confused.

"N-nothing." Amity stuttered, "Uh, is it my turn now?" Luz nodded in response, "I'm a lesbian, my hair is really dead, and I was homeschooled until highschool." Luz put a hand to her hand, thinking, "You don't look like the type to be homeschooled." Amity sighed, "You're right." "Wait- so you really are a lesbian?" Luz asked, Amity peeked up from behind her hair and nodded.

"Oh my gosh! Now there's no straight people in the friend group!" Luz exclaimed clapping her hands, Amity looked up confused, "Really?" Luz smiled and nodded, "Yup! Hunter's bi, Masha's non-binary and queer, Vee and Willow are pan, and Gus is probably gay!" Amity was bewildered, "So do you just collect gay people?" "Basically! Hey, they should call me the 'The Collector', sounds cool right?" Luz said beaming at Amity, who was now a blushing mess.

"Her smile is so pretty..." Amity thought out loud, "I heard you this time! You're hair is so soft and luscious I can't believe its dead, batata!" Luz reached out and gently grabbed a strand of Amity's hair, "See, its not dead at all!" Amity shrugged, "My mom used to bleach my hair every month as a kid." "Wait why?" "Because I got my dad's hair colour, my siblings both have blond hair like my mom, she wanted us all to match."

(Amity got the Jojo Siwa treatment lol)

"Hey Luz," Amity asked suddenly, "Do you draw?" Luz looked up from her phone, "Yeah, I used to. Why'd you ask?" Amity's brain caught up with her mouth and she internally cursed herself out for saying such a stupid thing. "Nothing, your hands look pretty strong though." She blushed, Luz examined her hands, short nails, silver rings and black nail polish adorned them, plus she had oddly long fingers.

"Hm. I guess, I have a lot of finger strength." Luz curled her fingers a few timed before glancing up at Amity, who wasn't even a person anymore, just a tomato. "Aw, did I make you shy, hermosa?" Luz asked smirking, "S-shut up!" Amity squeaked, she buried her face in her hands, why did she have to be so hot?

"Good morning students!" A loud voice rang out through the auditorium, the Luz tore her gaze away from her amazingly beautiful roommate, she saw a medium sized bald man holding a microphone and smiling at the audience, "I already don't like him." Luz muttered, "Why?" Amity whispered back, "Because I can't admire you without any distractions." She huffed and glanced beside her to her roommate who was a red mess, Amity hid her face behind Luz's shoulder, inhaling her scent. She smelled good... Like, really good. It was comforting to Amity.

"Hey Ams, wake up." Luz said, shaking the other girl lightly, "You fell asleep on me." Amity's head popped up and she started apologizing profusely, "I'm so sorry! I swear it was an accident! I-" Before she could continue, Luz cut her off, placing a finger on her lips, "Shh, its ok princesa, I don't mind." Luz's smile caused a chain reaction in Amity, her heart pounding and her stomach erupting in butterflies.

"Do ya wanna go out for lunch today?" Luz asked, "Sure, where to?" Amity responded, Luz glanced down at Amity, "I have a plan." Luz grabbed Amity's hand and smirked a devilish smile, "I have a surprise for you princesa." Amity rolled her eyes, putting on her 'cool and classy' persona from highschool, "Is this a date, Noceda?"

Luz grinned, "Oh you bet your pretty face it is." Amity's mental fortress was crushed at that moment, "Mhm, yeah, ok." She mumbled, Luz laughed a bit, "Batata tonta." "Hey! What does that mean?" Amity asked, slightly embarrassed still, "Silly sweet potato." Luz responded wrapping an arm around the shorter girl, "Haha, shortie." Amity groaned, "I'm not short." "To me you are, what are you? 5'5?" "It's 5'5.7 actually!" Luz giggled, "Still short." Amity shot a playful glare at Luz, "At least I'm cute." "Damn right you are." Luz shot back with a flirty smirk, Amity thought her heart had skipped a beat, how was this girl so effortlessly confident.
