Chapter 10 - Implied Veesha

Luz groaned as her alarm went off, swatting a lazy hand to turn it off. "Five more minutes..." A sleepy voice mumbled, Luz looked down and saw Amity nestled into her neck (see above ^^). "Aw batata," Luz cooed, "But we have to get up!" Amity groaned again and opened her eyes, "Wubwhatsbhuhn what?" She sputtered as she started growing red, "Hmm... pretty." Luz said, Amity blushed deepened and her hands reached for a pillow to smother her face, but instead, she grabbed a certain girl's face.

"Amity y'know if you wanna kiss me, you can, I don't mind." Luz smirked, "S-shut up..." Amity was going to explode, it was barely 7:30 am and Luz was already messing with her. "Ok princesa, lets get up." Luz slid off the bed before wrapping her arms around Amity and carrying her out of the bed. Amity's eyes widened as she realized Luz still wasn't wearing a shirt. So close yet so far...

Luz put Amity down in front of the bathroom and patted her head, Amity sighed and turned on the bathroom lights, the brightness hitting her like a truck. She stumbled around for a bit before splashing her face with some cold water. Had she really slept in Luz's bed last night? She went through her regular routine and contemplated putting on her contacts before grabbing her glasses instead.

Luz knocked quickly and opened the door to the bathroom, she was already dressed but she needed to brush her teeth. "Looking hot batata." She said, throwing a wink to Amity. After she walked out she grabbed her letterman jacket and her favorite converse, "Phone, charger, bag, Amity, schedule, map..." She said absentmindedly as she dug through a pile of scarves, just to pull out her maroon beanie.

"What are you talking about?" Amity asked, "Just listing things I need to survive." Luz said without looking up, this girl was going to be the end of Amity. She was wearing a white top and jeans with a pair of Mary Janes while Luz was wearing a black tank top, jorts (yes jorts) and a faded red letterman, of course she was wearing her beanie.

Luz pulled Amity through the door and ran down the hall excitedly, knocking on a random door. The door flew open and a girl who looked almost exactly like Luz popped out, the two shared a hug before excitedly chattering about something. Another person with dark hair and eyebags walked out next, throwing a brief smile to Amity.

"So, you live with Luz?" The girl asked, Amity nodded "Yeah, who's your roommate." The person pointed her chin to the girl talking to Luz, "I live with Vee, Luz's twin." "Ah, how do you know them?" Amity asked, "I'm on the soccer team with Luz, I'm Masha by the way." Masha responded, "What about you?" "I'm Amity, Amity Blight," "Blight? You're our new goalie!" Masha said smiling, "Amity smiled back, "Yep!"

After a minute of awkward silence Masha started speaking, "So, do ya like Luz?" "Of course! She's a very good friend." Masha raised an eyebrow, "You know what I mean, I see the way you look at her." Amity blushed, "I-i guess, she's so pretty, and nice and cool and buff and-""Shhh ok, you like her alright." Masha giggled, "Vee's nice, I like her a lot, I think I like her more than a friend." "The Noceda Twins, huh" Amity said laughing a bit, "The whole Noceda family has the entire campus falling for them." Masha agreed.

"Hey Vee, I bet $2o that you'll start dating Masha by the end of the year." Luz joked, "Bet you 20 that you and Amity will be dating by the end of the semester." Vee retorted, "Oh its on shortie." Luz said smirking, Vee matched her smile and stuck out a hand, "Deal." Luz took her hand and shook, both of them holding aggressive eye contact, "Shit. I don't like the look of that deal." Masha said rushing off to break the handshake. Amity followed after her, stumbling a bit in her shoes, once she finally reached the twins, she grabbed onto Luz's arms for support.

Luz caught her and glanced up to see Vee smirking at her, "Shut up." Luz mouthed to her, Vee rolled her eyes and smiled, wrapping an arm around Masha. "Cmon Masha, let's leave the lovebirds." Luz scoffed "Says you." Amity's face burned as she felt Luz's hands squeeze her shoulders.
