Chapter 13

"Come on. You're staying up on the third floor." Caelan led Knox out of the Alpha's office and back to the steps, where she continued up to the third floor. She turned back to look at him, a smile on her face. "Are you staring at my ass?"

He smirked at her. "It's a lovely ass." One he couldn't wait to get his hands on. He stopped at the landing, his eyes on her. What would she do if he said that to her? He almost didn't care. She'd have to get used to him, though given what she'd just asked him, he highly doubted that she'd mind his bluntness.

She was only a few inches away from him, and she stared up at him and licked her lips. "You think so, Knox?"

"Well, I'd need to see it up close and personal, but honestly?" He took a step closer. "I can't wait to get my hands on it."

Her lips parted at his words, and she stepped closer to him until her breasts were touching his chest. "Would you fuck me in my ass?"

His eyes flickered at her question in surprise. She could be just as blunt. "Would you want me to?"

She stopped in front of a door and opened it before walking inside. He followed her in, looking around. The room wasn't huge, and the bed was Queen size. It wasn't her room either, which he found a bit disappointing, but maybe she had her reasons for not wanting him to stay in her room. His gaze darted back to her. "Thank you."

She smiled up at him and closed the distance between them, her gaze hot on him. She stopped, her breasts against his chest and stared up at him. "So, what's going to happen with us?"

"I'd like you to come back to my pack with me," Knox told her, reaching out and brushing back her hair from her face. He leaned in close, taking in her scent. She smelled so good. He brushed his lips against her earlobe. 

She sucked in a breath at the feel of the tingles, her gaze darting up to him as she pressed her body even closer to his. Her hand traveled back down to his dick, stroking him through his jeans. "I want you, Knox."

She wasn't shy about it. Knox wrapped his arms around her waist, then pulled her tighter against him. He tipped her chin up, then lowered his lips and kissed her. She stared back up at him. "So are you."

Knox wanted her right then and there, and for a moment, he seriously considered it, just stripping her clothes off and mating her on the bed. But he knew he didn't have much time, and didn't want their first time to be rushed. His little mate was very turned on though and so was he. She suddenly stilled, then sighed, turning towards him. "I have to go. We'll talk later. After dinner. It's at six down on the first floor. Less than an hour from now. Maybe we can..." She reached down and ran a hand over his dick. "...play." 

"Okay." He kissed her again, more gently this time. "I'll see you there."

She smiled up at him and nodded. "See you later."

He watched her leave his room, feeling a bit disappointed that he hadn't had more time alone with her. But he'd wait until after dinner. Then they could play some more. But it would be better when he got her home. When he could be completely alone with her and explore her more.

Is she really your mate? Zara suddenly linked him out of the blue. Like, are you sure?

What do you mean, am I sure? Yeah, she's really my mate. What kind of a dumb question was that? 

See? I told you that you would find your mate on this trip. Alpha Jensen is a piece of work though. I want to punch him in the face for being a douche canoe. There's no reason for that. You're not better than everyone else, you asshole control freak. 

Knox snorted. I agree. That man does have control issues. How come you didn't tell them my last name? It's like I disappeared after you introduced me. No one even looked my way. 

Because I don't think they need to know, though I guess they'll be finding out soon enough, now that you're mated to his daughter. Does she know?

Knox chuckled. Nope, not yet. See you at dinner, Zara.

Yeah, see you then.

Knox walked into the bathroom to wash up, glancing at the time on his phone. He had about a half hour to go until it was time for dinner. He walked back into his room and grabbed his book, then settled down on the bed to read for a bit, though his thoughts ended up drifting to Caelan instead. He really hadn't thought to be mated to a she-wolf, but he wasn't going to complain. She was absolutely beautiful. He was looking forward to starting his life with her and getting to know her. 

He wondered if she'd want to go on his business trips with him. He could easily show her the world if she was interested. A lot of werewolves hardly left their pack lands, or if they did, they didn't go far. Not the members of Regal Eclipse though. Knox had been all over the world. 

The next time he looked at his phone, her realized he was going to be late to dinner if he didn't hurry. He headed out of his room, and downstairs, following his nose to the dining room. He walked inside and saw everyone in there and cringed. He was late. Not that he cared. Screw 'em.

Caelan slipped back in her room after showing Knox to his, her lips tingling from the kiss she'd shared with him. She was turned on from it all. Really turned on. She hadn't expected his touch to do that to her. She hadn't expected him to affect her so much.

She looked up when her bedroom door opened and Robert walked in. He was still pissed. She could see it plainly.

"Did you fuck him?" he growled, cornering her.

Her eyes widened. "No." She'd never seen him so pissed, but at the same time, she wasn't afraid of him.

"I can smell him on you. Do I need to fuck you right now so that he smells me on you?" he asked her, leaning down close to her face. "Do I need to stake my claim, Caelan?"

"No!" she whisper yelled at him. "He might kill you."

Robert rolled his eyes at her. "I'm not worried about him. But you better reject him!"
