"I suppose there's a lot of explaining to do, yes?" Kinoko said awkwardly upon Cyno's arrival, led by Wanderer. The three of them stood in a circle in the cave, a soft glow omitting from Kinoko. She still couldn't believe that only moments ago, this was the same cave that she received her first kiss.
"Obviously. I could tell that you weren't telling everything during dinner." Cyno said coldly, his arms crossed over his chest. He quietly examined what Kinoko looked like, and what it even was. "You look like you got struck by lightning."
"Well...yeah, I suppose I do." Kinoko replied, clenching her hands into fists again. She wondered how she could calm herself down again, but then again, she wasn't asking for another kiss. Not in front of the general Mahamatra. Stop thinking about it. She silently thought to herself. "In short, I'm from the lost nation of Khaenri'ah, I was found by the Doctor, he turned me human, but he also gave me some sort of power I have been working my whole life to awaken." She was slightly breathless after saying so many words, but it was amusing to see Cyno's horrified face.
"So...you awakened this power?" Cyno asked. He remained focused in matra mode, as well as looking around at the beautiful glow of the cave around them. He looked like he had just woken up, which made Kinoko feel bad, and also wonder how Wanderer woke up Cyno and not Tighnari.
Kinoko nodded, looking to Wanderer, who gave her a nod to continue. "We went to a Fatui base- the place where Signora abandoned me-and I lost my memories. There, I saw a present-time hologram of The Doctor. I guess he triggered some built-up emotions, and I awakened my power out of fury. Because of this power, I have been searched for by Fatui, and there is currently Fatui coming to try and find my location." She looked down at her feet, clasping her hands behind her. She was terrified of accidentally hurting someone, or destroying something, even if she was mostly calmed down.
Wanderer spoke up for the first time since he entered the room, a serious tone in his voice. "The Doctor gave her this power for one reason: Destruction and murder. Right now, I'm assuming, Kinoko feels this overwhelming thought to destroy something, or hurt someone. The only thing keeping her from doing that is her own self-control." He walked closer to Kinoko, his footsteps echoing in the cave until he stood right beside her. She held her breath. Yes, she wanted to be close to him, but at the same time, it freaked her out.
Wanderer was mostly right though. Self-control. She didn't know how she still had it, but she definitely wasn't complaining. "Which is why I need to learn how to control it, and learn how to use it at the same time." She looked at the surprised faces of the people in the room. "What? I have a whole bunch of Fatui after me-I think it'd be useful to know how to use it. Besides, to control it, I need to know how it works."
"Very well," Cyno said, "I'll help you with that. For the safety of Sumeru, and yourself." He turned around. "I don't think you should go to The Akademiya for the time being."
Kinoko nodded. "I'll help too." Wanderer murmured, his hand brushing against hers. That seemed to happen a lot, but this time it felt different. "And I'm sure Nahida would be of use."
"Right, yeah..." Kinoko mumbled in response. "Thank you both. I really appreciate it." She took a step to the side, away from Wanderer. It made her nervous to be near anyone at the moment. "Uhm...so do I go back home, or...?"
Wanderer crossed his arms. "I'll take you home, and stay there to make sure you don't do anything by accident." He noticed her stepping away. "Unless you'd rather have someone else-"
"No." Kinoko said quickly. "Come on."
Cyno was at the entrance before turning around, giving Kinoko a suspicious look. "We'll start attempting to train your power in the morning. For now, get some sleep. It's midnight." He exited the cave, Wanderer and Kinoko following. "I'll meet you both and Lesser Lord Kussanali at 8 am."
