Yes, I know I basically wrote this right after a cliffhanger but I'm still doing what I said and posting extra scenes and snit-bits!

OKAY, so this first one is a scene in Ataru's pov so I hope you like it!

"I really hope you feel better." I say as I finish wrapping up bandages of one of the elders of the village. The old woman smiled at me kindly in return.

"You are an angel, Ataru." She said softly to me, and laid back down on her bed in the tent she lived in.

"It's nothing. Please rest, and heal up! That injury must've hurt really bad." I open up the flap and let the elder's granddaughter in. I look up to the sun. Crap. I'm supposed to meet Sethos around this time. I quickly dart to the temple and gather my satchel, putting my previously cooked food in it.

Luckily, I made it to the Sobek Oasis on time, but just like usual, Sethos was already early, waiting for me. "Hey!" I waved at him before sitting down next to him on our usual log.

"There's the chief, looking gorgeous as always!" He says to me playfully.

I blush slightly. It seemed like lately he's been sneaking in compliments towards me, but it only made me feel awkward. "Pfft..." I take out the food to change the subject a bit. "I brought some food. Sorry if it isn't good, but I wanted to have a treat tonight." I hand him the food I had cooked, and he immediately starts to eat.

His eyes widened and looked back to me. "What? Are you kidding me, AT?" AT was the nickname he called me all the time. "This is delicious!" He exclaimed, taking a bite.

I smile when I see the look of delight on his face. I felt satisfied knowing he was happy, and he wasn't wrong either. When I ate my own, it tasted more delicious than anything I've ever cooked in the past. "Hey, by the way, I visited the Akademiya recently and I saw this guy with a really cool hat walking around! I tried to talk to him, but he basically disappeared! Do you know him?" Sethos smiled innocently, while I scrunch my face up in confusion.

Wait. Hat Guy.

"Oh, you mean Hat Guy?" I blinked at him. I've never find Hat Guy to be particularly interesting, other than the fact Kinoko definitely has a crush on him. "Yeah, sort of. He's Kinoko's...traveling buddy for commissions and stuff."

"Huh. Any idea on how to talk to him?" Sethos leaned in, a cheeky grin on his face, one that I loved.

I looked away in thought before smirking. "Well, you could always bring up Kinoko. I'm sure he'd listen."

He scrunched up his face. "Really? You sure that'd work? I haven't even met Kinoko."

"Trust me...it'd work."

"Hey!" Sethos called to Wanderer a few days later, who was leaning against a tree and reading a book. No response. "HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" He called louder.

Wanderer scoffed, an annoyed look on his face. "What now?" He stood up, ready to fly away.

"Wait." Sethos squinted his eyes mischievously. "You know Kinoko, right?"

Hat Guy froze, turning around. "What do you want with her?" He asked flatly, crossing his arms.

Sethos internally cheered. "Oh, I was just wondering who she is."

"Then go find her or something. She's probably in the Akademiya."

"Will do. Thanks, Hat Guy!" Sethos grinned. "By the way, nice hat. Where'd you get it?" He pointed up to the large kasa hat on Wanderer's head.

Wanderer tilted the hat down. "I got it a while back. Don't touch it." He glared at Sethos reaching up his hand.

"Okay, okay, my bad. I'll see you around. Nice to meet ya, Hat Guy!" Sethos called as Wanderer was getting ready to fly away.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." He flew up.

"The name's Sethos by the wayyyyyy!"
