"Me and your mother will be traveling down to the sign in fields with Xavier, we hope to see you there" Father walked towards the door but paused "and I'd like to invite you to dinner, please come Scarlet, it'd mean so much to both of us" he left.
Jenna walked out of the bathroom whistling lowly to herself "damn that is one serious story" I glared at her "hey! Hey okay I'm sorry" she held her hands up. "What are you going to do?" Jenna sat beside her, warmth radiating off of her "change of plans" I said softly "were going to find my mother" Jenna's eyes widened "how?" My brain went over the game plan before explaining it to her.
"I'm going to find Mary in a couple of minutes. I'll dig up as much as she knows about my mother and see if she can remember anything about the scent that indicated its uniqueness like if she could smell flowers over the vanilla or if the scent smelt more like rogues. I'll also be getting the letter, the basket and blanket that I arrived with. I need you Jenna to get our research we've been working on and explain the plan to the boys. Now that we know when and how I came to this pack we can put pieces together and knock out ideas from out list.
I need you and Russell to head down to the fields and sign us in. Me, Samuel and Liam will talk to the pack members and see if any one of them remember a women running away from the pack house" Jenna looked out the window "Scarlet you know this is a long shot, it's been eighteen years" I nodded.
"I know"

"Mary I'd like to talk to you" Mary stopped cleaning and turned to me with a sigh escaping her lips.
"I knew you'd come to me someday" I frowned "what?"
"This is about the night I found you, isn't it?" I slowly nodded my head. She smiled softly.
"I knew you'd be suspicious about your role in the pack. I knew that one day you'd fine out on your own and come asking questions" Mary headed to the sliding glass doors and looked at me. "You coming?" I followed.
Leaves and branching snapped under my weight, creating sound in silence.
"Where are you taking me?" Mary glanced behind her shoulders, a smile still on her lips. "To my cabin, were I took you back too years ago" it wasn't long after that we reached a cabin, it was fairly small with a chimney at the top made of bricks and woods.
"My mate made me this when I turned twenty, he said he's been working on it ever since he could walk" Mary sighed opening the door "sadly he died before I could bare his children but when I found you, only a year later, I thought the goddess had bless me with a baby" listening my Mary's story I let my wolf pair with me and looked around.
A small brown leather couch, a flat screen, wooden coffee table, chimney next to the couch. Behind it was an open concept to the kitchen and dining room. Complete with wooden cabnits, a wooden island and wooden dining table. The fridge had a layer or two of dust covering it along with everything else in the room.
"How long has it been since you've visited this place?" Mary shrugged.
"Sixteen years give or take" she walked over to the kitchen were a stood stood next to the fridge.
"When I found you I kept you with me for a long time but Xavier went on a run one night and caught a whiff of you and your father. He followed the scent back here and broke into my house, he found you sleeping peacefully in the basket you arrived in on the table. When I came out from my room he growled at be and stood over you, his wolf in full protection mode" Mary opened the door and pushed things aside.
