Soft hands ran over the top of Scarlet's breast, she ached her back into the touch. Loving the warmth it brought her and the security it gave her. A low moan rumbled through her chest.

The man in front of her smirked against her heated flesh, his groin pressed against her wet slicks. The man groaned "so wet" he whispered nibbling at her ear "only for me" Samuel's lips trailed wet kisses up and down Scarlets jaw before dropping to the spot between her collarbone and neck, he sucked on the flesh.

Scarlet closed her eyes in pure bliss but was rudely awaken when her eyes opened and saw someone other than Samuel. Xavier.

He sat underneath her, he touched her body and made it sing for him. He was the one she craved. Not Samuel. Scarlets breaths became uneven, she didn't want to stop her imagination from running wild with the thoughts of Xavier pounding into her from behind. Of Xavier whispering erotic words as his length broke into her barrier, leaving her in a heaping mess of moans and groans. Both from pleasure and pain.

Pain of having to be away from him so long and pleasure of finally connecting.

But she pushed them away, blinked her eyes and tried to enjoy the bliss she felt with Samuel. She tried to focus of his touch, on his kisses and sweet words. She tried. But could never succeed.

Scarlet gave out a trembling moan encouraging Samuel to thrust faster into her sweet spots from behind. He molded her breast into his soft hands in hopes that she would like it, but Scarlet couldn't focus on that. Glowing golden eyes from outside her tent was what stopped her from climaxing. It was what stopped her in general.

She faked a moan, her back aching forward before Samuel grunted his release. She faked hers.

Finally, Samuel fell beside her with heavy breathing. He wrapped his arms around her waist and curled his body into hers. Scarlet wasn't paying attention, her focus on the eyes that seemed to analyze her every moves and no matter how much she wanted to feel afraid of those patronizing eyes she couldn't. All she could feel was peace, complete.

"Come on! Berries for breakfast!" Liam whined, Jenna gave him a strict glare. "Well if you don't like my food then go make your own pretty boy!" Scarlet shook her head, her eyes immediately snapping to the rustling in the cluttered trees, she could do for a nice rabbit right now.

Russell and Samuel made their way through the thickness of woods and into the field, each holding some type of animal freshly killed. Liam groaned in ecstasy.

Scarlet looked away from the two, her mind wondering off to when she first woke up. Samuel hadn't been in bed. His side, actually, had been cold to the touch something she didn't like.

Scarlet glanced over at Jenna, her bright smiles, laughter and attitude was what brought guys to their knees. Jenna had it all. Honey brown hair, bluish grey eyes and tone skin. She was fierce but knew when to submit and her personality was one of a kind. Scarlet, in a way, was jealous of Jenna. Jenna had a real family, a nice life and men falling for her every corner she took. She honestly wouldn't be surprised if Samuel felt for her, but it would break her heart.

Jenna looked up just in time to catch Scarlets eyes moving away from her, Scarlet's frown noticeable.

Before Jenna could see what was wrong, Scarlet had already disappeared into the woods and Samuel took her place.

A soft breeze of wind, cool calm water, freshly wettened soil. Scarlet took a deep breath in, she let her body relax along with the trees. Everything around her was alive and vibrant, she didn't want to ruin it with her spiteful thoughts but she couldn't stop them from clouding her vision.

Scarlet let out a soft sigh, she stood up and stripped of the night gown she put on after her long night with Samuel before dipping her foot in semi-warn water of a lake around a couple of yard from her camp. She let her shoulder sag, more thoughts of Jenna and Samuel rushing through her brain as if it were on a mission.

Scarlet let herself sink into the warm water and laid afloat with her eyes closed.

She knew she shouldn't be jealous. If anyone in her pack found out that the heartless Alpha's daughter felt jealous over her chosen, she'd be a laughing stock. She was already hated for choosing Samuel over her mate by most people, some on the other hand knew what she was going through. How Samuel stayed by her side from the beginning and how they both helped each other through heartbreakd and betrayal. . .but maybe being friends with someone should have stayed that way. As friends.

Scarlet groaned mentally.

Everyone thought of her as the 'ice bitch' a girl who only cared about her self and what would benefit her, but what people don't understand is that she can love too. She loves her parents, her friends, children and even - as much as she hates to admit it - her mate. She didn't want to admit it, not to herself or to anyone else but she did love Xavier, whether it was on a brotherly level or a mating scale level.

She loved him nonetheless. . .and that's what makes it hard.

Loving two people at the same time. One is chosen and one is destined, which one do you choose?

Scarlet hummed to herself a soft melody she remembered from when she was a kid, her mother always told her that she'd hum it in her sleep or whine it when she wanted something. She found out that Scarlet seemed to be connected to the song. As if she'd heard it before and never let it go. So, everything Scarlet got fussy with her or simply couldn't sleep, she's hum it or even make up lyrics.

Rustling from behind Scarlet got her attention.
