Lost in Lies

The launch party was several months behind them now and it seemed ever since then both Kim and Chay had been too busy in their lives too spend much time together, let alone speak about what had happened that evening. Kim had been busy either preparing for his newest Asian tour or promoting his album, while Chay had been busy with assessments and preparing for end of year exams. To most people it would have seemed like the two were trying to avoid each other on purpose, but the timing of the work had been purely accidental. The mayhem at the launch party, although not following Nile's design, had completed its task brilliantly, and everyone now thought Kim was firmly off the relationship market. Although he occasionally still got some inappropriate gifts from fans, the mass of 'proposals' and other improper questions, had stopped when he had come out as not only in a relationship but in a relationship with another man. The vast majority of Kim's fan's had been overwhelmingly supportive of their idol, wishing him happiness and a long future with Kitten (by a stroke of luck no one actually knew Chay's real name so they were sticking with Kim's nickname for the time being, much to Chay's annoyance). The support he was getting from his fans was in fact so overwhelmingly positive that Kim felt a little bad lying to them about the relationship, but he guessed it was only like lying to them that his name was WIK, all part of the fantasy they bought into.

In short Nile's plan had been a runaway success, and both Kim and his agency could move forwards without fanatic fans making a nuisance of themselves, and Kim could concentrate on his career and concert. There was only one small problem with all of this! In the last few months Kim, who never had much sleep anyway, had been woken nearly every night with the feeling of phantom touches to his hip, where Chay's warm palm had rested on the evening of the launch, and his chest, where Chay had innocently played with the K hanging from his necklace. Those phantom touches had turned almost to caresses whenever he had allowed himself to remember that evening, to remember how Chay stood leaning into his arms, and those imagined caresses inevitably lead to his cock rising to full mast and having to be dealt with before he had any chance of getting back to sleep. Despite his aversion to touching people, except apparently Chay, Kim had always had a high libido and right now images in his head of the one man in the world he could never imagine touching enough, were sending him mad.

Kim had thought that hardly being able to see Chay for months and focusing on his work, as he used to before all this began, would balance him out again. Actually the reverse seemed to have happened. The longer he went without seeing or touching his kitten the more he imagined it, and his imagination was always far worse than the innocent touches the real Chay would have given him. Kim wasn't sure if it would make things better, or worse, that this evening was the opening night of his new tour and as it was opening in Bangkok, Chay had been invited to attend. It would be the first time Chay would be seen in public with Kim since the two went public with their relationship, and the press would be all over the two of them whenever they got half a chance.

Nile had asked Chay to come over to Kim's apartment a few days before. Chay had realised that all face to face meetings were done at Kim's apartment because the press already knew where he lived and neither Kim or Nile wanted anyone finding out Chay's address. The thoughtfulness touched him, so he never moaned, overly much, when he got summoned and had to spend 20 minutes in a taxi riding over there. Kim hadn't been there when he had arrived, but Chay was getting used to Kim being too busy to see him. It seemed that any phone calls the two made where always missed and any texts were only returned after about 4 hours, they were both simply too busy to keep in contact much. Nile had explained about Kim's new tour opening soon, which Chay vaguely knew the date of from one of the texts him and Kim had exchanged, and the fact that as WIK's boyfriend Chay would be expected to attend. The press that had come to the launch and spread the story of WIK being off the dating scene were already getting cold feet about the idea after no other pictures of the two appearing after several months.
