Kalani's pov-A Week Later:
Things around the house have been great lately. The guys have been a lot more lovey dovey and they've warmed up to the idea of Christmas. They even let me buy those blow up things you put in the front yard.
Nick and Tristan put them up yesterday. I couldn't let Brandon and Austin slack off so I made them put up the tree. We decorated it all last night and then we watched "Home Alone".
I finally let Austin put the mistletoe under the door, mostly because he promised he would buy me ice cream any time I asked for it.
I was compromising on certain things. Not much because I wanted everything to be perfect and they would only do the bare minimum without my help. They're so lazy.
I was currently in the basement with Brandon. He was playing some video game that I thought was VERY violent but hey, to each their own.
"Baby, stop moving around so much. You're gonna start something you can't finish." Brandon mumbled against the side of my head. He was laying his head on my shoulder as he focused on his little game.
"Can't help it. I don't understand how you play games like this. This is gonna give me nightmares." I grumbled before I grabbed the blanket that I had brought down here and pulled it over myself.
"I told you to sit beside me instead of on my lap for this exact reason, Kali." I rolled my eyes before I turned so my legs were on the couch.
"Just turn it down. I can't stomach the sound of anyone else's tongue being cut out." I cringed. He chuckled before he grabbed the remote and turned it down a little bit.
"Where's your phone? I wanna watch Netflix." I asked as I looked around his phone. He reached over and grabbed it before handing it to me.
"What's your p-"
"Your middle name." Oh. I looked up at him before I looked back at the phone. I typed in my middle name and was almost surprised that he wasn't joking, ALMOST.
"What don't you have Snapchat?" I asked as I scrolled through his phone. He shrugged before lifting his hips to shift his body down so he could lay back on the couch and still see the TV.
I decided not to ask him any more questions because I knew he was trying to win whatever the game was. He'd been playing for almost an hour and he hadn't moved an inch.
Just as I was about to turn on a movie Tristan came downstairs. He moved over to the couch and sat beside us, he leaned over and kissed behind my ear before looking at Brandon.
"I have a favor to ask." Brandon grunted before he paused his murder game.
"What is it now?"
"Actually, I need a favor from both of you." Me? Why?
"What?" I asked, tilting my head.
"My mother has requested that we all spend Christmas together in our winter cabin. We'd be back a few days before Christmas. I don't want to tell her no, mostly because I haven't seen her in months but I don't want to go up there by myself." Cabin? Before Christmas?
"Come on, T." Brandon sighed.
"I know. I know. Look, we could stay for a few days and leave. We don't have to stay the whole week." I looked up at Brandon before looking at Tristan.
"We'll go." I shrugged. I honestly didn't mind spending time with Tristan's parents. I haven't seen them in a while and I'd love to get to see them again.
"There's a catch." Of freaking course.
"Taylor and Willow will be there. And I know we agreed that you would avoid any situation where you had to put yourself in an uncomfortable position so I don't want you to say yes if you really don't want to go." Shit.
