Land of the Wind (A New Adventure)
A huge timeskip..
Morning was.. Chaotic to say the least. America slammed the door open harshly, which woke me up. He also dragged me out of bed and ordered me to get ready.
I was confused why he was acting this way, but followed his orders anyway. Which, was unlikely for someone like me. I don't usually follow people's orders.
I got ready and once I finished, I went downstairs. Though, I was greeted by the sight of America's kids present in the room.
When America saw me, he shoved a piece of toast in my mouth, which caught me by surprise. I took the toast out, raising an eyebrow.
"What's wrong with you at this time of day?" I asked, taking a bite of the toast. I could tell from his face, he was slightly panicking.
"Did you forget? It's the day we got to the mysterious continent! And, we're late to that!" America said, getting his stuff ready.
I look towards all his kids, it's honestly surprising how all of them were there. On the front of the line, it was Texas.
Once America was done packing things up, Texas suddenly embraced his father into a hug, which caught America by surprise.
"We're gonna miss you dad.. We promise to take care ourselves while you're gone though!" Texas said with a smile, which melted America's heart.
America sighed and ruffled Texas' hair. Soon, the other children started surrounding him and hugged each other, which was strange to see since there are.. 50 children.
We all said our depressing goodbyes (for America, at least) , and left the house. We went over to America's car and got in, then he started the engine and we drove away.
I gave Kaminari a small treat, which it took from my hand and ate it. I scratched it's chin as it let out purring sounds. I heard America sigh from the other side.
"I just hope UN is not mad at us for being late." He mentioned. I shrugged my shoulder and shifted my gaze towards the car window.
"Probably not. I don't know for sure. You've known him for a long time, what do you think his reaction would be?" I asked, raising an eyebrow and looked towards him once again.
America thought for a moment, running a hand through his hair. "It depends on how important this mission is. So probably.. We'll get a few scolding here and there." He chuckled nervously.
