"Do you like to read?" Namjoon asked sitting beside Jimin with a fond smile on his lips. Jimin nodded.

He likes to read, especially romantic fictions. It was one of his hobby. Words have that power to help him to escape from the reality, to take him to another world, where he is not the character, where he is not suffering, where he don't have to cry over simple things.

Jimin prefers romantic genre with happy endings. Even though life is not like that, he want the stories to have a perfect, happy ending. The character deserves it.

"Should we read something?" Jimin nodded again at the question. "Let's go to my personal library." Namjoon stood up from the couch, then helped him to stand up.

"It's not that big, but there are so many books there. You will like it." The older showed off his dimples. Jimin smiled back.

Namjoon guide him towards the staircase and open the door under the space of stairs. It was a tiny place, wall shelves filled with a lot of books. Jimin looked around awed by the sight. It was beautiful, a paradise for readers.

"It's not that big, but still there are a lot if books here. We wanted to make this space useful. What could be the best way than having a library at home." Namjoon ushered Jimin in to it. Only one or two people can stand there in that tiny space, with the most part filled with book shelves. But it doesn't matter. They can just pick up a book and sit on the stairs or somewhere in the house to read. Jimin admired the library, inhaling the scent of paper. It was like heaven for him.

"Pick whatever book you like, and we can read together. If you want, i can read it for you." Namjoon suggested.

That's an inviting offer. Jimin had always liked it when someone read him stories. His mom used to read him stories when he was little, and sometimes his dad too. But as a writer, his mom was really good at telling stories. Her every story has a moral, a lesson hidden in it. And she will explain it by the end of the story. She is the reason why Jimin started reading and fell in love with books.

Jimin looked through the books in the shelf, hoping to find any of his mom's book there. To his surprise most of his mom's books were there. He smiled and picked his favourite book, the purple eyes on the cover, which he himself designed, stared back at him.

The book was well written, portraying a the female protagonist struggle to escape from his husband, a story where villain appears in the form of hero, just like Jimin's life. But at last she get free from the devil and find his true love who helped her throughout her struggles. The happy ending, that he likes.

He know the story really well, but it's the way of writing, or maybe he can relate to it so much, or he wanted that kind of happy ending in his life too, that he always comeback to this story.

Namjoon picked up the book from his hand and smiled widely, his eyes shining with excitement. "Park Sooah, she is one of my favourite author. And she is the wife of park Jihyeon, the owner of Muse." He said then his eyes widened with realization. "Oh, it's your mom." He said excitement and surprise clearly visible on his face. Jimin nodded, smiling up at the older. "Cool, i would like to meet her one day." He squealed like a little boy.

"Joon, is your mom's big fan." A sound came from the library door and Jimin turned towards it, to find Hoseok standing there, leaning on the door frame with his arms crossed on his chest. "He is gonna ask for her autograph, if he met her." Hoseok laughed, mouth forming in to a heart shape. Namjoon rolled his eyes, but nonetheless smiled fondly at the other man.

"Let's go." Namjoon ushered Jimin out of the mini library.

With Hoseok and Namjoon both side of him, Jimin felt safe. They helped him to sit on the couch and Hoseok sat beside him, while Namjoon took the arm chair, still holding on to the book Jimin chose.

Namjoon opened the book, and started reading. His voice deep yet soft, making Jimin forget all his problems and pain. And the way the taller pronounced the words give him goosebumps. He sat there in trance, hypnotized by the olders way of reading.

Between the story, Jimin lost his concentration. He thought about the things that happened.

Just like the protagonist in the story, he was also free from the evils grip, he don't have to worry about the cruel man anymore. His neighbors had took care of everything regarding the lawsuit. And they assured him that, Minseok will be rot in the prison forever.

Jimin was goad to hear that. He never want to see that man agin in this life, nor in his other lives.

Just like the protagonist in the story, Jimin believed on the mask the cruel man was wearing, and ignored the warnings his friend gave him, trust the wolf in the sheep's clothing and ruined his life with his own stupidity.

But now everything is okay. He is safe, with his neighbors, his friends. They are really good people. They are genuine, and Jimin carved something like, they have for each other, how they love each other.

But as a person who got backstabbed, he can't help, but not to believe them.

Jimin know, deep down he does trust them. Or else he will never agree to live with them, or else he will never let them take care of him, or else he will never allow himself to thinking about accepting their proposal.

But when thought back about how concerned they were, how caring they are, maybe giving them a chance won't hurt. Maybe, they will love just like the way they love each other. Maybe Jimin can be have a happy life.

Jimin's eyes dropped as he felt sleepy, the story long forgotten.

"Let's get you to sleep." He heard Hoseok's voice before an arm wrapped around him and lift him bridal style. He subconsciously snuggled in to strong chest feeling safe, before closing his eyes falling in to a deep sleep.
