Everyone is about fifteen years old, and it's their sophomore year. Alongside with his sister Savani, Syven is currently a freshman in high school. Over the past few months, Jaylen has been spending more time with Zarielle in an attempt to figure out when it would be the perfect moment to ask her out.

Spencer had walked down stairs checking to see if the kids had left for school.

Spencer: Good Morning babygirl (kissing her forehead)

Savani: Morning dad, is mom up?

Spencer: She's still sleeping but I came to see if yall left for school yet.

Savani: (sighs) nope we're still here.

Spencer: Where's your brother?

Savani: Upstairs taking his time, Sj Hurry up before we miss the bus!

Syven: (shouting) Hold on, I need to grab something.

Savani: Omg.

Syven: My bad and yo dad.

Spencer: (laughs) wassup son but yall have a good day.

As their dad hugged both of them. They made their way to the bus stop where Zarielle, Amir, and Jaylen were already standing.

Syven: The bus aint even here yet.

Savani: I had to tell you that because you would have made us miss the bus.

Everybody laughs

Amir: Sj how are you liking your freshman year so far?

Syven: It's been cool since my friends and I all go to the same school together.

Jaylen: That's wassup bro.

Syven: Yeah unlike my sister here she ignores me like we ain't related.

Zarielle: (laughs) Wait really?

Savani: He's embarrassing.

Amir: Don't do my boy Sj like that now.

Savani: How about you be his brother then.

Jaylen: Dang.

Zarielle: He doesn't mean any harm right sj?

Syven: Nah I just love my big headed sister.

As he walks toward Savani, Syven teases her by wrapping his arm around her shoulders and placing his hand on top of her head while laughing.

Savani: Get off of me, see this is what im talking about.

Amir: (laughs) he just showing his big sister some love.

Zarielle: Exactly!

When the bus arrived, they had left for school. All of them parted ways as soon as they entered the school, with the girls heading to talk with their cheerleading friends. The boys were talking with one another while standing at their lockers.
