Now that it's July 4th, everyone has made up their minds to visit one of the pier parks to watch the fireworks. The sun was already starting to set when they arrived. At that point, they all began watching the sunset until Xavier walked towards them.
Xavier: Yoo.
Jaylen: Wassup bro what you doing here?
Xavier: Mia invited me.
Amir had stood there in silence.
Zari: Ohhh.
Mia: (laughs) yeah i figured he would like to join us.
Zari: Aw that's sweet of you.
Mia: Girl stop.
Xavier: Wassup savani.
Savani: Hey.
Xavier: I'm going to go grab some food.
Mia: I'll come with you.
Xavier: Bet let's go.
Zari: Well, while they go get food I want some ice cream so savani you wanna come?
Savani: I'll stay looking at the water but bring me some ice cream back.
Zari: Okay I got you, well babe you come then.
Jaylen: Ight then.
They had left Savani and Amir alone there while all of them went off to do other things.
Savani: The view is so pretty.
Amir: (looks at her) yes it is.
Savani: Since when do you like things like this?
Amir: I'm just agreeing with you (laughs)
Savani: Very interesting.
Amir: How?
Savani: Just is.
Amir: Alright you do boss.
Savani: (laughing)
Amir: I missed that laugh.
Savani: What's so special about that?
Amir walked closer towards her inches apart, as she looked up at him.
Amir: Because it's you.
Savani and Amir stepped away from each other as everyone started to walk back. The fireworks started going off into the air after everyone had made it back. With excitement and amazement, everyone looked up at the night sky.
Ivy's House
In an attempt to push her parents to communicate, Ivy had invited her dad over because her mom has been avoiding him. There's then a knock on the door and Ivy opens it.
