The next couple weeks have been rough for Amir but he tried to keep it together. Jaylen, and Zarielle tried to contact him but he was not answering any calls or texts. So they thought having Savani go over to his house to get him out of his funk and get some fresh air.
She arrived to his house and his mom had invited her in, directing her to his room. She saw the door was cracked and opened it slowly knocking on it saying "It's me savani".
Amir: (in a depressed tone) Wassup what are you doing here?
Savani: We all have been worried about you.
Amir: It's no need, I'm ight.
Savani: It's okay if you're not amir.
Amir: You didn't have to come.
Savani: (sits beside him) I wanted to.
Amir: I appreciate that.
Savani: How are you holding up and be honest.
Amir: My uncle was like my best friend. He taught me a lot growing up and to see him gone kills me.
Savani: I'm so sorry for your loss. I know he meant alot to you but he wouldn't want you to stay cooped up in your room forever.
Amir: It's not your fault, but I feel better staying in my room.
Savani: (looks around his room) I think it's better you get fresh air.
Amir: Nah, I'm good.
Savani: We all miss you, I miss you.
Amir: (looks at her)
Savani: I don't want you to become some type of dark vampire here.
Amir: (laughs) Alright I'll see what I can do.
Savani: Good, I'll text you to check in on you okay?
Amir: You leaving?
Savani: Yeah.
Amir: Dang you lowkey made my day better.
Savani: I'm glad I did but I have to be somewhere with my family.
Amir: I understand but thank you for coming over.
Savani: (smiles) of course, anytime.
She gave him a hug before leaving his room.
In the cafeteria everyone was getting their lunch and taking a seat at the table. Until Zoey brought up an idea to everybody's attention.
Zoey: I'm hosting a party at my house since my parents are gone for the weekend and I think you all should come.
Zari: Ouu that sounds fun!
Savani: Your parents let you throw parties?
Zoey: Well not technically but they're never home on the weekends so why not.
Jaylen: That's dope not gonna lie.
Mia: Who will be there other than us?
Zoey: Most likely the whole school.
