Chapter 15: Unexpected

Amir: I felt like you needed me to show you that I meant everything I said.

Savani: (looked him in his eyes)

Amir: What does this mean for us?

Savani: I'm not sure.

He glances into her brown eyes while holding her face.

Amir: It's okay if you're not ready for a relationship. I will wait for the time when you are ready. Because I don't want anyone else but you.

Savani's eyes start getting watery with a tear falling down her cheek. Amir wipes away her tears and gives her a forehead kiss before pulling her into a hug and holding her tightly. Both Zarielle and Jaylen looked at each other and smiled after noticing them.

Savani was extremely close to her mom and didn't want to keep anything from her, so the next day she wanted to tell her what had happened and what she should do. She had texted her mom to come to her room. Soon after, she came and took a seat on her bed.

Liv: What did you wanna talk about baby?

Savani: A boy.

Liv: Okay I'm all ears, what's wrong?

Savani: So a while ago he confessed his feelings to me and I walked away from him. Basically ignoring him for weeks because I didn't know how to react.

Liv: I did this with your dad, shutting him down and ignoring my feelings.

Savani: How did you deal with it?

Liv: I never really handled it, I just pushed how I really felt away. But it wasn't a good idea because the feelings I had ended up getting deeper. Do you like him?

Savani: Yeah I do, but I'm scared.

Liv: It's completely fine to be, I know trust me. Have you told him how you feel?

Savani: No...but it's another thing yesterday he kissed me.

Liv: Wow okay...

Savani: Um and the thing is that the boy is amir.

Liv: Omg really?!

Savani: Yeah.

Liv: I never thought it would've been him.

Savani: Is that a bad thing?

Liv: No not at all, but for your dad I don't know.

Savani: I know which is why I'm talking to you first. What do you think I should do?

Liv: (holds her hands) Whatever you do is your choice, but i'll say go after what you want. I'll be right here if you need anything.

Savani: You're not mad that it's him?
