Chapter 13: Main Attraction

Some time after Savani's birthday, they found out that Drake was going to be performing in New York. They all have been getting ready to attend the concert today after having their parents purchase their tickets. Zarielle, and Mia were at Savani's place as they were all getting ready to leave.

Zari: I'm so excited for today!

Mia: Yesss I love me some drake that is for sure.

Savani: No forreal though.

Mia: Savani how do you feel about lylah coming along?

Savani: Good I guess.

Zari: Stop lying, you know you don't like her.

Mia: Yeah, them looks at her is something serious.

Savani: Omg I have nothing against her.

Zari: Yeah okay.

Savani: My mom just texted that she's waiting for us downstairs.

Mia: We'll finish this conversation later.

After leaving to get into the car, they eventually made it to the stadium to meet with the rest of the group. They exchanged words before entering the building holding out their tickets. Before they went on to find their seats, they had got some snacks. Soon after, they all took a seat and waited for Drake to perform.

Concert

When Drake finally appeared on stage after an hour and a half later, everyone jumped up and shouted for him. As he performed a lot of different songs, everyone was imitating him and dancing while recording on their phones. The next song he performed was "Find Your Love". While Zarielle was singing to him and staring at him with admiration, as Jaylen was holding on to her waist.

As Drake sang the lyrics: "I took a chance with my heart," and "I'm done waiting, there's nothing left to do but give all i have to you." Amir glanced over at Savani who was singing and started smiling at her. Lylah, his girlfriend was going to record him and her singing along when she noticed that he was smiling at Savani. Despite becoming agitated and frustrated, she resumed listening to the song.

Prior to it being time to leave, they had all finished having a good time at the concert. Lylah pulled Amir back as they were leaving so that everyone could pass walking ahead of them.

Lylah: What was that in the concert?

Amir: What are you talking about?

Lylah: You were looking at savani when a certain song came on.

Amir: I was checking to see if everyone beside us was good.

Lylah: No you weren't.

Amir: How are you going to tell me?

Lylah: I peeped this look you always give her and I never said anything but something is definitely up so what's going on?

Amir: Nothing damn.

Lylah: Amir don't play in my face like I'm dumb.

Amir: I'm not finna argue with you.

Lylah: Just admit you like her, and stop wasting my time.
