Grandma Eleanor has been still at zarielle's house for a few weeks now, and today she decided to make some cupcakes with her grandkids.Eleanor: You wanna stir everything up sweetie.
Essence: YES YES.
Eleanor: Zari baby you can lay out the cupcake liners in the pan.
Zari: (smells the cupcake mix) This smells good sis, you did a good job!
Essence: (smiles) Th-ank you.
Her grandmother put the cupcake pans in the oven for them to bake after Zarielle filled them with the mix batter of ingredients.
Eleanor: Now we wait!
Essence: I can't wait.
Eleanor: (starts coughing badly)
Zari: You okay grandma?
Essence: (frowns her face in fear) do you need wa-ter grammy?
Eleanor: I'm good girls (coughs again)
Zari: (goes to get water) Here drink this please.
Eleanor: Thank you baby, I just need to sit down.
Essence and Zarielle helped her sit down as they both sat next to her.
Essence: Are you okay grammy?
Eleanor: Yeah my little bunny, you know grandma is just a little old (laughs).
Zari: You are not old.
Essence: Yah you are not old.
Eleanor: I love you both so much, you two are going to be game changers one day. Don't let anyone tell you any wise you hear me?
Zari: Yes.
Essence: Yah.
Eleanor: Give grandma some sugar.
As their grandmother hugged them close and kissed their heads, Zarielle and Essence buried themselves close to her. Once the cupcakes were finished, they covered them with icing and sprinkles on top of them. Each of them grabbed one, tried it, and smiled at each other as they were pleased with the outcome. After some time, Zarielle was lying in her bed in her room, watching TV and scrolling on social media. When her grandmother knocked on her door, and entered her room.
Zari: Oh hey grandma.
Eleanor: Hey baby, what were you up to?
Zari: Nothing, just watching tv and looking on my phone
Eleanor: You kids these days in this technology (laughs).
Zari: What can I say, it's addicting sometimes.
Eleanor: You crazy girl, I wanted to come talk to you.
Zari: (laughs) Oh okay.
Eleanor: I just wanted to say how proud I am of the young lady you became. Your parents did an amazing job raising you.
Zari: (smiles)
Eleanor: You are older now and I know you may not like hanging out with your grandmother.
Zari: That's not true, I enjoy spending time with you.
Eleanor: Aww bab-y (coughs)
Zari: You sure you're okay you have been doing that all day, should i call my mom or dad?
