Chapter 23: Unfolding The Truths

The Next Day

As Savani opens the refrigerator door after going downstairs to get something to drink, her father sees her as he's on the couch and calls her name, but she ignores it and keeps pouring herself a glass of water. He had gotten up and made his way over to the island counter where she was.

Spencer: I know you heard me talking to you, so you're just going to ignore me?

Savani: (attempts to walk past him)

Spencer: I understand you are mad at me.

Savani: Do you really?

Spencer: I said I'm sorry babygirl. But what I said yesterday still stands.

Olivia and Syven walks over near them.

Liv: Now that I finally got sj to get up out of bed. Today we are taking Christmas family pictures and I need you two to get dressed.

Syven: Oh dang ma I forgot to ask you if destiny could come over?

Liv: Not today we are taking pictures.

Spencer: She can come over after.

Savani: (looks confused and angry) Soo it's okay for syven to have his quote on quote friend over but i can't date. How does that work?

Liv: Wait what you mean?

Spencer: That's because they are friends. You dating is way different.

Savani: Friends...right.

Syven: Broo savani.

Liv: Is somebody going to start talking?!

Savani: Syven is dating destiny.

Liv: WHAT?

Spencer: Frl?

Syven: Alright yeah I am.

Liv: Hold on since when?!

Syven: Ma-

Liv: Boy when did this start?

Syven: It got serious when we started highschool.

Spencer: That's my son (handshakes)

Liv: Spencer don't play with me (looks at him with a serious look)

Spencer: (sits in silent)

Liv: So this whole time she would come over here what were you two doing?

Spencer: Have y'all done anything?

Syven: All we do is chill.

Savani: I don't think that's what I heard you tell zion.

Syven: Savani...bruhhh!

Liv: Answer the question.

Spencer: Have you had sex?

Syven: (thinks)

With his controller in his hand and his back resting on his pillow, he was playing the game on his bed and focusing on it. While he plays the game, Destiny lies next to him, with her feet on his lap and her eyes on her phone. His attention is drawn to her as her feet reach his crotch, and he then turns to look at her.
