a fractured heart:
in shards of shattered dreams,
lies a heart that once did beam.
loves warmth now turned to pain,
a heavy burden to sustain.
memories of joy and laughter,
now bring only tears and sorrow.
the ache within my chest,
a hollow space that won't find rest.
your smile, a distant memory,
fades like a sunsets final gleam.
our love, a fleeting flame,
extinguished, leaving only shame.
time, a thief, stole our forever,
leaving me with this hollow endeavor.
to mend the cracks and heal,
a heart thats lost its way to feel.
but still, i hold on tight,
to loves embers, fading light.
perhaps someday, ill find,
a new heartbeat, a new design.
until then, ill wander,
through shadows of loves surrender.
and hope that someday soon,
my heart will learn to love anew.
