shadows within:
her body aches, a vessel torn,
a silent scream from wounds unworn.
the weight of hands she never sought,
a battle lost she never fought.her skin feels foreign, not her own,
a fragile shell of flesh and bone.
every touch now burns, ignites,
a cruel reminder of stolen nights.her mind is a storm of shattered glass,
memories lurk, they stab, they pass.
of the present, future, and what she wishes was her forgotten past
shame and anger braid a chain,
binding her heart in endless pain.the mirror whispers, “this is you,”
yet she recoils— it cant be true.
this cant be what shes been reduced to.
who is this girl with haunted eyes?
whose tears could fill the empty skies?but deep within, a faint light glows,
a seed of strength that slowly grows.
though broken now, shell rise, shell mend,
she has to.
for this pain will not allow her story to end.
