Joshua was wiping down the kitchen counter when Seokmin, still cradling his beloved Pochacco, padded softly back into the room. His cheeks were flushed pink, and he was biting his lip like he was shy about something.

“Shua hyung?” Seokmin called out quietly, tugging at Joshua’s sleeve. Joshua turned around and bent down to meet Seokmin’s gaze, smiling warmly.

“Yes, baby? What’s on your mind?”

Seokmin shifted on his feet, holding Pochacco tighter to his chest as if he needed the plushie’s support. “I was having a tea party earlier, but…” His voice trailed off before he looked up with hopeful, sparkling eyes. “But I think it’s better when you’re there. Will you join me, Shua hyung? Pochacco and Mr. Bunny, and Softy are waiting for you!”

Joshua’s heart melted at the sight. The way Seokmin asked so sweetly, with those big doe eyes and the tiniest pout, made it impossible to say no.

“Of course, baby. I’d love to join your tea party,” Joshua replied softly, patting Seokmin’s head. “I bet Pochacco and your other plushie friends will be so happy to see me, huh?”

Seokmin’s eyes lit up, and he grabbed Joshua’s hand, pulling him excitedly toward the living room where his tea party was set up. On the coffee table were tiny cups and saucers, a small plastic teapot, and three plush toys neatly arranged around it—Pochacco, Mr. Bunny, and Softy the bear.

“You can sit here!” Seokmin pointed to an empty cushion beside Mr. Bunny. He hurried to adjust the plush toys, making sure each of them had a cup in front of them. “Pochacco is the host, but Mr. Bunny likes to pour the tea. Softy just likes to eat all the cookies!”

Joshua couldn’t help but grin as he sat down on the cushion, carefully crossing his legs. Seokmin immediately handed him a tiny cup and placed a plate of pretend cookies in front of him.

“Thank you for inviting me, sunshine. I’m honored to join such a special party,” Joshua said playfully, taking a pretend sip from his cup. “This tea is delicious!”

Seokmin giggled, his cheeks puffing up with joy. “Mr. Bunny made it just for you, Shua hyung! He says you’re his favorite guest.”

Joshua played along, nodding seriously. “Well, you can tell Mr. Bunny that I’m very impressed with his tea-making skills.”

Seokmin let out an excited squeal, delighted that Joshua was enjoying the party. “Softy says you should try the cookies too! But don’t eat them all—he gets grumpy if you take his cookies,” Seokmin warned with a small pout.

“Don’t worry, Softy. I’ll only have one.” Joshua reached for an imaginary cookie, dramatically savoring it. “Mmm, so good. I see why Softy loves them so much!”

Seokmin clapped his hands together, giggling as he made each plush ‘talk’ with their own cute little voices. Joshua watched him, completely charmed by how lost in the moment Seokmin was. His sunshine was glowing, so carefree and happy.

After another round of tea and cookies, Seokmin crawled over to Joshua, resting his head on Joshua’s shoulder, still holding Pochacco tightly. “Shua hyung, you make the best tea parties.”

Joshua wrapped his arm around Seokmin, pressing a kiss to his hair. “That’s because I’m with you, sunshine. Any party with you is the best.”

Seokmin’s giggle was muffled by Joshua’s shirt as he snuggled closer, his soft lips brushing Joshua’s cheek in one of his signature gentle kisses. “You’re my favorite person, Shua hyung. Even more than Pochacco!”

Joshua chuckled softly, his heart full. “I’m honored, baby. I love you so much.”

And as they sat there, surrounded by plushie friends and pretend tea, Joshua knew this was one of those moments he would treasure forever—Seokmin’s little space was a world full of love, sweetness, and warmth. A world where Joshua would always be there, by Seokmin’s side, making every moment as special as Seokmin made him feel.
