Seokmin sat on the couch, swinging his legs back and forth as Joshua sat beside him, listening intently. In his little space, Seokmin was especially excited to tell Joshua all about his day with his friends, his eyes bright and his voice full of childlike enthusiasm.

"Daddy, today was so fun!" Seokmin began, his words coming out in a cute, slightly lisped tone. "I went to the pawk with my fwiends... and we pwayed a wot! We pwayed tag, and I was soooo fast, Daddy! Wike a wabbit!" He mimicked running in place, giggling to himself.

Joshua chuckled, his heart warming at how adorable Seokmin sounded. "Oh really, baby? You were that fast, huh?"

"Yup!" Seokmin nodded eagerly, puffing out his chest proudly. "Nobody could catch me! Not even Hoshi hyung, and he's weally, weally fast! But I was faster!" His words tumbled out quickly, his excitement barely contained.

Joshua ruffled Seokmin's hair. "Wow, my little bunny is the fastest! What else did you do?"

Seokmin's face lit up even more. "And then... and then we had a picnic! Seungkwanie bwinged sammiches, and they was sooo yummy, Daddy! But... but I didn't eat da tommato 'cause it was yucky!" He wrinkled his nose, sticking out his tongue for emphasis.

Joshua laughed softly. "Oh no, not the tomatoes again, huh? I guess we'll have to work on that."

Seokmin shook his head, giggling. "Nooooo, Daddy, no tommatoes!" He leaned against Joshua, nuzzling into him affectionately before continuing. "Aftah da picnic, we went to da swings! I swung weally high, Daddy! I went up in da sky!" He spread his arms wide, imagining how high he had gone.

Joshua smiled, wrapping an arm around Seokmin as he listened. "You're so brave, baby. Did you have lots of fun with your friends?"

Seokmin nodded eagerly, his smile never fading. "Uh-huh! Sooo much fun! But I missed you, Daddy..." He looked up at Joshua with his puppy eyes. "I wanted you to come too."

Joshua's heart melted, and he hugged Seokmin closer. "Aww, I missed you too, baby. I'm so glad you had fun though."

Seokmin snuggled into Joshua's chest, letting out a happy sigh. "It was da bestest day, Daddy. I wuv my fwiends... and I wuv you da most."

Joshua kissed the top of Seokmin's head. "I love you the most too, baby."
