Kendra smiled as Marquis walked towards her office. She quickly removed the smile from her face as she looked to her computer. He tapped on the door two times making her look to it.

"Hey what are you doing here?" She asked and he frowned.

"Do I look like Donald Duck to you?"

She laughed before biting her bottom lip. "A little bit." She shook her hand back and forth. Marquis didn't laugh as he slammed her office door shut. The glass of the door shattered making her rise to her feet.

"What the fuck is your problem?"

"This shit." He raised the pregnancy test box in his hand. "What the fuck would you need this for?" His eyes stayed glued to hers as she frowned.

"Why the hell were you going through my stuff Marquis."

"I promise you I will fuck this whole office up." He looked into her eyes.

"Naomi took the damn test. Clearly I don't need one." Kendra motioned to her stomach. He looked her over. "Why are you looking at me like that? What reason would I have to lie to you!?" She folded her arms.

Marquis looked at the glass at his feet and then into her eyes. "My fault."

"Your fault? Look at my damn door Marquis." She pouted. He shook his head as he opened the door. "Where are you going?"

"I need some air." He spoke as he left out of the office. Kendra followed behind him,  careful to not step on any of the glass in her doorway.

"Please clean that up. I'll have someone come by to fix the door."

"Already on it." Her assistant smiled as she grabbed a vacuum. Kendra smiled before catching up to Marquis at the elevators.

"What's going on with you?" She asked placing her hand into his. He looked down at their hands and then to the elevator.

"Nothing."

"Something. You're never this triggered by nothing. So what's up?" She stepped in front of him. He wouldn't look at her making her frown. Kendra placed her hands on the side's of his face. "I'll wait until we get outside." She dropped her hands.

Marquis didn't bother to grab her. He didn't have any smart remarks about anything. He just stood in the elevator with her with his hands behind his back. She tried to not stare at him, but it was hard for her.

Marquis acted a lot like Naeem, so when he was quiet she knew it was something bad. Kendra placed her hand into his as the doors of the elevator opened. He squeezed it gently before leading her out of the elevator.
