I HOPE YOU ENJOY THE BOOK! IT'S NOW COMPLETE!
"A rule? Do we really need a rule to keep peace?" A deep voice fills the grand hall with a firm tension. At the very far end of a silver table that stretches down the length of the hall, is the man who had spoken. He has white hair and electric blue eyes. His voice is filled with thousands of years of knowledge but his skin is as smooth and soft as a young adult.
All around the decorated table are at least twenty thrones. Five thrones in specific sit at the end of the table, each varying in accordance to their owner. Two stand out. One is colored a deep blue, shaped with a smooth stone, and has carvings of fish and mer-folk decorating the arms and a trident on the headrest. While another is made of weapons, spears specifically, and human skulls along the top of the throne, the smooth stone being replaced with a cold iron.
"It has gotten out of hand. The rule is a requirement." A different voice speaks this time; this voice being much quieter. "I understand that a few of you have already engaged in activities with other races, humans especially."
The man turns to look at one of the other main five. The one at the very center of the group is none other than the king of gods himself; Zeus. His white hair glows among the other gods, his eyes an electric blue and his clothes a dim gray in contrast to the bright silver armor covering it. On either side of him are his brothers: Hades and Poseidon.
Hades is almost the complete opposite from Zeus, darker than black hair and the purest red blood thirsty eyes. His skin is similar to Zeus' making him appear much younger than he is. His outfit matches his elder brother, only with the colors being much darker.
Poseidon, the middle ground of the three brothers, has brown hair that looks like his head was dipped in chocolate. The dark color of his hair allows the bright ocean blue of his eyes to stand out. Unlike his brothers, Poseidon is more relaxed in his throne and his eyes drifting off into the distance.
"If you expect me to abandon the woman I bore a child with then you are painfully mistaken." Zeus meets the man's gaze without a glimmer of hesitation in his eyes.
A large smile spreads across the fourth man's face. His eyes are a ruby red and his hair a deep black. A few white and red marks stretch along his face and body, standing out against his even darker black skin.
"It was your choice to bed the woman, Zeus." His deep red gaze stretches over the long table full of gods and creatures of other worlds. At the far end is a small girl who greatly reflects the appearance of Ziven. The only key difference being the black marks instead of white. She wears a pale red gown that has dark silver armor covering her chest and a ruby crown on her head. There is a metal plate in front of her that reads, 'NIGHTMARE QUEEN SYBIL.'
"This isn't a debate. I am Ziven, speaker of the Tartanians. If you wish for peace with our people you will agree to this oath and speak it with truth."
A female god, Aphrodite, stands up with a huff. Her hands swing to her hips and she sends the meanest glare at the Tartanian. "Why should we listen to some stupid Tartanian? Shouldn't we be speaking with the Titan King; Cronus?" Ares, her husband, stands up and grabs his wife's arm.
"Aphrodite, I understand your frustration, but making demands right now isn't a good decision. The last thing we want is war." She turns her light blue eyes towards Ares and back at the Tartanian.
"Fine." She sits back down in her throne, the glare still in her eyes.
"She does have a point, Zeus." Hades says. His red eyes tracing every single detail of the table in front of him. His throne is all black with a few skulls and even blood on the arm rests. "How are we to make a permanent oath if our father isn't here himself?"
The Tartanian, Ziven, stands up from his chair and moves to stand behind the three major gods. He turns his gaze to the large table of Olympians and other intelligent races of Tartania. "You will make the oath now. Anyone who refuses will die."
A firm tension spreads through the large throne room. A few whispers before everyone goes silent. Zeus had stood up and turned to face the Tartanian. The two males are almost of equal height, Ziven being just slightly taller.
"I make this oath to the Primordials of the Universe. I, Zeus, King of the Gods, swear to never bare a child with any who are not a God. Should I break this vow, I will kill the child that I bore and accept any punishment I should be given."
A few minutes pass of silence. The gods sitting among the table look to their king with eyes of shock. Moments later a sigh fills the silence. Hades and Poseidon rise from their chairs and repeat the words their elder brother had spoken.
Before long, the same words circle around the table of Gods and once the final vow is given the man releases a chilling laugh.
"Tartania thanks you for your cooperation." Ziven makes his way down the hall and towards the massive doors at the end of the table. "Oh, and Zeus," he turns back and smiles with a sickening grin on his face. "I urge you to...tie up loose ends sooner rather than later." He pulls his long black hair back into a ponytail before pushing the giant doors open.
On the other side of the door stands two Titans, both outfitted in golden armor with silver chainmail that covers every inch of their bodies and a matching golden spear in their hands.
Their skin is a glowing silver compared to their vibrant golden eyes. "The Peace Summit has ended. Escort our 'friends' back to Olympus."
