!! Trigger Warning !! Gore right below
God, this was exciting for me, erotic even. It's not like I get hard due to gore and horror things; I just get very excited when someone gets what they deserve, and even though I don't know the boy, I could tell that Adam somehow knew the boy. Possibly they're in the middle fraction and his school, or perhaps he's another bully he didn't tell me about.
CHRUNCH SNAP GULP
That gulp was Adam, but the others were the bones of the boy being eaten alive; its tongue had the flesh of a cat but was as long as a snake. Fascinating much. It reminds me of that one time when I saw a half-eagle, half-giraffe in the shop once. I didn't get killed sadly, but it's on my bucket list to get attacked by one of the so-called animals one day. Apart from that, Adam was still scared to use his 'ability' with the Ocarina; if that were me, then I'd have already killed the damn thing and ripped its heart out. Yet... Adam was always the fearful one between us, always shaking when even a small gore drop happened in a horror film.
"You can do it, Adam. Just focus on playing the note and ignore the fact that someone's guys are being eaten out raw." I smiled as an act of encouragement, but I think it just scared him more. I'm not very good at advice.
He took a deep breath, which was just one step closer to actually doing the right thing! I should give him a pat on the back for that. I probably should say that you would've expected me to have the 'ability' and not Adam, but times change, and usually the Ancestors of Music like to feed on the weak, and it gives more power that way. In which I'm not at all weak and my dreams are just defeated and being defeated by the monsters.
After it felt like an eternity of just hearing the monster chowing down on the corpse of another, he finally played some sort of melody that would potentially freeze the experimented animal and the Hold On. They didn't even sound the alarm when the monster was attacking; they just want to kill us all now and populate the world with their 'Itty Bitty Witty Little Wittle Babies That Wouldn't Harm A Single Soul!!!' God just saying that was disgusting. But in all seriousness, we'd usually get a siren blaring off and an INCREDIBLY ANNOYING voice saying 'Monster Coming' and that saying repeated 100 times. And once you hear that almost daily, you sort of want your ears to be ripped out of their sockets by the monsters that are coming.
Getting back to the visionary as the teeth feasted on the boy, all I could currently do was grip onto the pole for support as the train continued to ride onwards. I guess that it had been overrun by the terrorists that work with the scientists. Sadly, Adam couldn't do his job right and was struggling to even form the words to ask for help, let alone take a few steps back towards me; he was just stuck in a parallel of fear. I had to step in and yell at him if we were going to survive, and if I didn't, we were going to be long dead.
"Adam, focus already!" my voice cutting through his chain of thoughts like the creature's teeth that finally ripped out its heart. It was like a nightmare watching this all over again.
I could see the ocarina in his hands, shaking as the light bounced off it, showing he took good care of the gift I gave him when he was little. The drugged-driven growls of the beast came to a start again as it limped slightly towards us, trying to squeeze its way into our carriage. With every chomp, the creature—a blend of cat-like agility and the hunched frame of a bear—edged the boy closer to oblivion. Its tongue, forked and dripping, licked the air between bites, the flickering fluorescent light above casting an eerie gleam across its panther-like teeth. It felt like a scene painted just for me, a canvas bleeding colours of terror.
The train screeched to a sudden halt, causing me to tumble over a little, and the lights flickered ominously. Panic erupted, and a stampede of desperate mortals scratched at the doors in an attempt at trying to escape, but we were trapped just like the 1st scenario in ORV. I turned back to Adam, urging him with my gaze.
