I read everything and every chapter that was available with the link she sent me... did I change the timeline?
No... that can't be possible... but then why...
Why did she choose me?
When she had such great power... why'd she choose to be lonely for all those years?
I flicked back through all the documents; trying to find what I had missed, and if there was a way to save everyone. Save her from the regression, maybe... either way, I had to do it for her. With found courage, I limped back onto my feet, sliding my earphones inside; playing the greatest music artist of all times before sprinting to the one building with the most current havoc.

"... early this morning, a boy in his mid teens was murdered. His head is nowhere to be found and his fingers were all taken off apart from his thumbs; this may be the executer of the experimented monsters, but we aren't sure yet. More updates will be filed in the afternoon news..."
"I thought The Executer died last year?" that was true; everyone was so pleased that it had died, but all good things ended. Especially when we're living in this type of world; nothing 'good' can come for free, I had to learn the hard way.
"Why are they even guessing if it's The Executer- when they know it's dead?" I decided not to speak up for this one; letting the more adult workers talk, despite my knowledge of big villains and their torture techniques. The Executer always snapped off all the toes and fingers of his victims before either eating them or throwing them into an aquarium for the fish to eat; the second option was weird if you asked me, but these villains have their own ways of coping with life... I guess...
Either way, I shouldn't be thinking about the images that produced in my mind as I thought about a body with no digits- they'd be perfect for ballet classes- and be focusing on how many hours until work opens. Anteiku is a small cafe where I work and also live; Amber had offered for me to stay at hers before all this mess, but I only ended up hurting her so much more.
The manager came downstairs and looked at me; it was probably about school but he gave me the look to follow him; so I did as I was told. Once I sat down with my hands on my knees, he spoke in his soft and calm voice; sitting down in his usual chair on the left of me.
"I suggest you've seen the news, Isabella? Not about the alleged reborn of The Executer"
"Then no I have not..." well else could I have missed; the news was practically the only thing I consumed during my time living in Anteiku.
"Remember the boy who got eaten alive 10 years ago?"
"Yes, he got a heart transplant," I forgot about that he even existed but his friend visited him every day until he was to wake up again.
"I fear that he's the culprit; knowing your cases, you were quite hungry after the surgery," I'd rather not be reminded about those times where I was begging for something that would be good for my stomach and not some garbage that human called food.
"Are you going the tell the others about it if he comes in with the regular?" the customer that was regular; even before I got here, was the boy who stayed by his side. I'm crap with names; I can barely remember my own co-workers' names without just calling everyone a person.
