Aaron Carpenter

We walked hand in hand down the crowded streets of the carnival. Aaron was guiding me in circles around the enclosed block of town.

"Let's ride the Ferris wheel?" Aaron asked me stopping at the huge ride in the center of the street.

It was intimidating because of my fear of heights so I squeezed his hand and tried to move on, "Come on babe why would I let anything bad happen to you?" He persuaded not budging.

I weighed my options and decided just to ride the death trap instead of arguing with him for hours, knowing I would lose anyways, "Okay but you have to buy me ice cream later"

He smiled and nodded at me, agreeing to my poor negotiation. I hesitantly walked to the Ferris wheel and waited in line with my excited boyfriend.

We waited for about three dreadful minutes until we made our way to the rusted colored seat of the wheel. The blue paint was chipping and poked my skin when I sat. The poor condition made me weary of my safety but I pushed through for Aaron.

I squeezed his hand and he chuckled. We went higher and higher until we reached the top and overlooked most of the town.

"This view is beautiful" he said to me. I started at the darkening sky as the lights from the fair lit up my eyes.

"It is isn't it?" I asked him mesmerized by the beauty.

"I was talking about you" he said sending butterflies in my stomach. I blushed and looked anywhere but at him so he didn't see my cherry red cheeks.

"Hey, look at me" he softly said grabbing me and pulling me closer. The seat wiggled a little but I was to caught up in the moment to care. He leaned in and kissed me softly. I leaned back and bit my lip.

"Aaron I love you" I said surprising myself. We haven't exchanged I love you's to each other before.

"Y/N" he said pecking my lips, "I love you too"
