Kinda different but it's not that bad...

I sat down my phone and stared at my beautiful baby pink dress. It had silver sparkled accents along the waistline and the hem of my neck line. I spent hours finding the perfect dress so I could spend the perfect night with my man.

My hair was a wavy type of curl, half up half down. I hate having my hair up because it always ends up falling down later on. Plus, he liked it down anyways, claiming it framed my face beautifully.

I couldn't wait for this prom. He claims that its going to be the best night of my life. I heard a knock on my door and walked down the stairs to quickly answer it. My mom and dad already got it however because before my eyes laid my boyfriend, all dressed up in his tuxedo.

"You look gorgeous!" My mom yelled before anyone else could get a word out.

"I second that" he said smiling at me, I walked to him and grabbed his hand. He pulled out our matching corsages, decorated with white flowers.

"You look so handsome babe" I whispered in his ear. He smiled and kissed my forehead, then turning to pose for my parents pictures. I held him tightly, "Alright, bye, love you guys" I said to my parents, grabbing my things and walking out the door.

He didn't go all out, I pleaded him not to, so when I saw his beat up truck, I was pleasantly surprised. He opened the door for me like the gentlemen he usually is and I carefully got in, making sure my dress didn't get dirty on the dusty door.

"This is going to be so much fun because I'll be with you" I said smiling and turning on the radio. Our song came on, "Coincidence?" I said way to excited.

All he did was laugh and sing to me "All of Me" as I sang it with him. We stopped at a fancy Italian restaurant and ate. Then resumed our journey to prom. The place the school booked was half and hour away. So we had plenty of time to talk and share lost memories. We showed each other new music we found and told each other stories about our childhood we never told. I told him about how when I was five I had to go to the ER to get a fruit loop out of my nose. He told me how when he was ten he had to go get surgery because he got a fish hook stuck in his thumb. We had fun just talking and laughing, like we love to do.

"You know what babe this is already one of the most memorable nights I've ever shared with you" I told him.

"You make every night special" he said being a smart ass and making fun of how cheesy I was being.

"Oh shut up!" I said playfully hitting him. We pulled up to the parking lot and were soon at prom. It was everything I ever dreamed of when I was a little girl, and now I get to spend my dream night with the love of my life.
