Together Again

Split 1 - Zeb's P.O.V

I follow Kanan, Ezra, Steel, and Ahsoka to the escape pods. We sit and wait for Hera, Beway, and Chopper but the pods close themselves. I know better than this. They don't close themselves. Hera closes them from the main control in the cockpit. The last thing I see of the Ghost is it hitting Yavin's atmosphere.

I wake up in pain as I try to sit up. I feel warm hands on my chest pushing me down gently. At first I think it's Hera but after a while of quiet I know it's not her. Big problem here! My eyes flash open to see everything is blurry. I try to sit up again and I hear a soft laugh coming from next to me as someone tries to push me down.

" you are always so persistent you never gave in to what anyone else ever wanted good to know the Empire hasn't changed you Rel." Says a soft familiar voice. When I can finally see again I see the yellow face of Lenia an old friend of mine and a surviving Lasot comes into view.

"Lenia Maybarto I thought you were killed when the Empire...." I say and she smiles her golden hair falling over her shoulder.

"No I managed to escape and live a few more years till you showed up." She says a small smile on her face. I try to sit up and grab my side as I fall back. "Yeah you shouldn't move for a couple of days Rel." She says and I grumble.

"Carabast. Why not jump in a pit and get it over with." I say and she laughs. Then everything hits me like a massive wave. I jump up and ignore the pain. "I need to go find my friends they could be in danger or worse in the hands of the Empire." I say as I force myself out of bed. Lenia seems surprised by this and does nothing at first.

"Zeb your in no condition to save your friends." She says as she steps in front me. "But we are." She says as a spark enters her eyes. "Have you heard the rumors about other rebels cells attacking the Empire?" She asks me as she opens the door and walks down the hallway. I follow her and at the end of the hall is a door. She stops next to it and I open it to see hundreds of people running around loading guns and ships and cleaning things.

"Where am I?" I ask and she smiles at me.

"Welcome to the Knights." She says and I look at her.

Sorry about how short it is but I want to post all the Split parts in one day so you see where everyone is so hang on and enjoy the story. I am going to start posting on Monday only so you know.
