Together Again

To the Planet of dust - Sabine's P.O.V

I lay on my bed in the Medi bay starring at the roof like I have been for the past three days. Kanan stays in his room most of the time now. From what I understand he now knows one of the things that happened to Lyra when she was little and it's scared him. Steel stays in the loading dock wanting to be alone. Hera stays in the cockpit when she's not making food or taking care of our wounds. Zeb stays in his room as Chopper just rolls around blindly. Ezra will slip in here and keep me company when he can. We still haven't found Ahsoka but the thing is when Kanan, Beway, Ezra, or Steel try to find her with the force they only find darkness but they have got one thing. She's no longer on this stupid planet with us. We're finally taking off to Tatooine to save Lyra but I'm afraid of what we'll find. The plan is that Kanan and Steel will go in dressed as bounty hunters. They will stay the night and take Lyra away when everyone is asleep. With our luck they'll get caught or we'll get beat to death by sand men.

"Hey Sabine." Ezra whispers as he slowly slips in and ever to the empty chair next to me.

"Hey Ez." I say forcing a smile. "How is everyone holding up?" I ask and he sighs as he shakes his head. He looks depressed but I don't get why. Then it hits me.

"You like Lyra don't you?" I ask him and his head snaps up his face turning tomato sauce red.

"Is it really that obvious?" He asks me and I laugh a wide smile stretching on my face.

"Yeah Ezra you make it a little to obvious... For a girl to see." I tell him and he seems to calm down. "Your afraid of Steel aren't you?" I ask him with a smirk and he glares at me.

"No... Well maybe a little... I'm manly afraid of what Kanan would do." He tells me and I stop laughing.

I nod my head. "I get what you mean. I'm surprised he didn't kill Steel when he first found out." I tell him and he laughs. He quickly stops and looks down.

"Kanan's not doing so good." He tells me and I sigh. That is to be expected. "He won't even talk to me." He says and I know he wants to talk to him.

"Act like you've run off. That'll definitely get his attention." I tell him and he nods his head.

"You can be evil at times you know that?" He asks me and I give a wide smile. "Will you help?" He asks me and I perk up.

"Um yeah." I say as I sit up quickly and listen to his plan. He walks over to the counter as he explains the plan to me and writes something down for me to give to Kanan. I smile as he leaves the room putting the plan in action. My comlink beeps and I grab it.

"Specter 1 you need to get in her now!" I tell into my com forcing my voice to sound scared and worried. I read the note quickly and force a smile to stay off my face as I fold it back up and wait. I hear footsteps and the door flies open to reveal a worried looking Kanan.

"Sabine what is it?" He asks him and I hand him the paper in my hands.

Dear crew

You guys are not paying any attention so maybe if I bring Lyra back you'll listen to me and actually have a mind. Your all acting like lifeless zombies and I don't like it. Please understand I'm doing this for all of us.

I watch as Kanan reads it but he looses color quickly. He drops the note and runs out of the room and down the hall but I'm not going to miss this so I jump up and out of bed and follow him. We climb down the ladder to find the ramp wide open in front of us. Kanan runs out swinging his head to each side.

"Ezra!" He yells.

"Quiet or we'll kill them both." A rough voice says. Me and Kanan spin around to see Ezra being help in a strong grip of a bounty hunter and Steel out cold on the ground.

"Let them go." Kanan growls and Ezra whimpers as the grip around his throat tightens.

"Who's going to make us?" The one holding Ezra laughs. Something hits him and he falls to the ground to show Beway who quickly attacks the second person.

"I am." He growls when there both down. Kanan runs up to Ezra who's crying as me and Beway check Steel.

"Ezra what the he'll were you think. Going after Lyra on your own?" Kanan asks Ezra and he explains everything to him. When we get in the Ghost Hera takes off for Tatooine as Kanan yells at us for our stunt but not once afterwards does he go to his room.
