Together Again

Gone - Lyra's P.O.V

We sit in the Phantom eating the food I had gathered before Sabine woke up and screamed because I was missing. When I think about it she's more overprotective then my father and that's saying... Well actually that's not saying much. She's worse then Steel who would baby me when I was ten years old and became leader of the Sift. I finish eating and walk outside for some air. It's quiet. To quiet. I look around but i can see any animals no matter how hard i look.

"Sabine get you blasters somethings not right." I call back behind me and i feel her hand land on my shoulder. I turn to see Sabine looking around. I hear a ship and i drag Sabine into the woods and pull our stuff to us with the force. The ship lands next to the Phantom and two men walk out. Bounty hunters. Great just what we need. They walk into the Phantom and i drag Sabine away from them hoping they won't hear the rustling of leaves. "Sabine find the others okay. They are going to hunt me down and i'm going to play a little game with them but listen okay i need you to either find the others or a member of the rebel group know as Knights they will help you okay." I tell her as i look around but she grabs my arm.

"I can't leave you not with them." She tells me and i smile.

"I can take care of them. I'm one of them." I tell her and she looks at me.

"You mean your a bounty hunter?" She asks and i nod my head sadly.

"Yes i am." I tell her. I hear them heading this way and i push Sabine away. "Go and find the others. Give this to Kanan and Steel. They will be able to track me with it." I tell her before i jump up and run away. I hear them chasing after me and i smile. I run not using the force hoping i'll still be able to get away. Some how one of them end up in front of me and i run into him. I fall to the ground but start to crawl away but the other one grabs me.

"Look at this." One says as i shield my face.

"P-please don't hurt me." I beg them my voice breaking at the end of my request.

"Orphaned. Lets get you a new home sweetie." The one holding me says. I get up and look at him.

"What are you going to do to me?" I ask my voice soft and weak. The one i ran into puts a hand on my shoulder and i freeze.

"It's okay we won't hurt you." He tells me and i look at them. The one i ran into has short blond hair and green eyes and the other one is a Rodian. "Come with us we'll find you a knew home." He says and i look at them then nod my head. Where ever they take me i will get away.
