The interval bell rang, and Arunima and Sathya eagerly stepped out of the classroom.
"Let's find Arun and Sidharth!" Arunima exclaimed.
They searched the corridors, finally spotting the duo in the school library.
Sathya and Arunima grabbed some books and silently sat on the next bench.
Arunima expertly avoided eye contact with Arun, but Sathya couldn't help.
Her gaze drifted to Sidharth, her eyes wide with admiration.
Sidharth noticed them and recalled Arun's words: "Sathya has a crush on you."
He turned to Sathya, their eyes meeting.
Sathya's face flushed; she hastily covered herself with the book.
But it was upside down.
Sidharth chuckled silently, got up, and approached Sathya.
He gently inverted the book, smiled, and returned to his seat.
Sathya felt butterflies in her stomach.
Arunima got up and sat beside Arun.
Arun asked, without looking up, "Do you like me?"
Arunima's heart skipped a beat.
"I think so," she replied.
"Do you like me?" Arunima asked.
Arun smiled.
"I think so."
They chuckled.
