💜Darkest hour/Wake thy power-part 2💚
Teen got the ouija board out of the box and put it on the table that was conveniently placed for everyone to sit around. Cass started gathering the spirits in her head to head count once it started cause she knew it was going to be one of them it had to be.
"Uh, Spanish, Chinese... ah English."
Teen said as he flicked through the pages of the ouija board instructions, Cass wondering why English was first they are the only people dumb enough to try this.
"Okay. "Number one, do not use the ouija board alone.""
Teen started to read the instructions out, that first rule wasn't going to be an issue for them.
""Number two, don't speak over each other.""
Teen said the second rule that one was going to be a lot harder for the group, demonstrated by the fact they immediately started talking over each other.
"Three! Don't taunt the spirits."
Teen continued, looking directly at Cass and Agatha as he did this the others turning to look at them too.
"What?"
Cass and her mother asked at the same time as they realised everyone was looking at them.
"What's going to happen if I taunt them, they'll end up living in my head? They can get a room, Jesus Christ, you act like I haven't already been possessed once on this trip."
Cass said getting glares from everyone, her mother nodded along what was the worst that could happen right.
"I repeat. Do not taunt the spirits."
Teen repeated himself, Cass rolled her eyes,
"Four, do not ask about death. Five, always end your session with good bye. Six, do not under any circumstances remove your hand from the planchette. If you do so, a spirit will be released."
Teen continued to read the rules, Cass was a bit nervous so she decided to make a joke.
"Can you repeat three again I didn't quite catch it?"
Cass asked jokingly getting a laugh out of her mother but no one else, getting stink eye from teen actually.
"What? I'm nervous. I make jokes when I'm nervous, okay?"
Cass defended but no one was having it, Lilia having noticed something on the back of the rule book but her eye sight wasn't good enough to read it.
"What does it say on the back there?"
Lilia asked flipping the book over for the boy,
"For ages 3 and up."
The boy read, which gave Cass more questions than answers.
"What kind of three year old is playing with a fucking ouija board?"
Cass asked the group looking at her funny before teen just shrugged his shoulders. Everyone moving to sit down around the board, putting their hands on the chip.
"I can't I just sit this one out. I talk with-"
"Put your hand on the chip."
Teen cut Cass off, Cass rolled her eyes before sticking her hand on the chip it was a little cramped to be honest.
"Wonder who's waiting for you?"
