💚I'll see you at the end🧡

Cass was lost in her own mind as they walked and walked trying to find Lilia's trial, remembering the moments she and Alice shared. Cass found herself back at the moment she had first met Alice.

"Class I would like you to welcome our newest student, Cassandra Maximoff-Harkness."

The teacher said as Cass stood at the front of the room, nervously looking at the rest of the class, she'd never been to an actual school before, her mother had taught her everything she knew. The class seemed to stare at cass, Cass had a similar root situation to present day Cass so that was probably why they were staring at her.

"Cass. Everyone calls me Cass."

Cass corrected the teacher, who smiled and nodded at her, Cass putting up a confident mask on to hide how genuinely nervous she was.

"Well, Cass, you can sit next to Alice."

The teacher said, pointing towards another girl who had different coloured hair. Alice had orange streaks throughout her hair, Alice smiling at Cass as she went to sit down next to the black and orange haired girl.

"I'm Alice Wu-Gulliver, I really like your hair."

Alice complimented Cass as she sat down next to her, the girl using her hyphenated last name seeing as Cass used hers.

"I love yours too. Wu? Would you have any relation to Lorna Wu, from the band?"

Cass asked, Alice's face seemed to kind of drop, Cass noticed this and quickly tried to defend her question.

"Not like it's a bad thing, I love the band, I would kill to have her as my mum, no offence to my mum, she's kept me alive this long."

Cass began to ramble, Alice looking at the girl a smile slowly appearing on the woman's face but Cass wasn't paying attention to it.

"Yeah. My mother is Lorna Wu, but please don't tell anyone, I don't need everyone bombarding me."

Alice finally told Cass who mimed zipping her lips and locking them and throwing away the key, this whole charade causing Alice to laugh.

"I do have to ask, I've heard rumours that she is a witch, are they true?"

Cass asked, Alice noticing a sparkle in the girl's eyes as she asked, but Alice wasn't sure if she should tell Cass.

"Why do you want to know?"

Alice asked, she was genuinely curious but she made it out like she didn't really care. Instead of verbally answering she very subtly flexed her green magic, Alice's eyes widening she had never seen green magic before.

"You're, you're a green witch?"

Alice kind of stuttered, cass shook her head,

"I don't fit the us-"

"Is there something more interesting than what I'm teaching, you two?"

The teacher interrupted Cass, the pair's heads snapped towards the front of the room, Alice looked scared but then she saw the sly grin on the girl's face.

"I don't know, I feel like everything including watching paint dry is more interesting than what you're teaching."

Cass quipped, causing the whole class to laugh, Alice especially, her fear dissolving as the woman said what she said.

"Okay. To the principal's office, I don't know what record you were trying to set there, but you're impressing no one."

The teacher said as Cass got up to leave, leaning on the doorframe quipping something back before leaving.
