💜If I can't reach you/Let my song teach you- part 3💚

There was no time wasted before everyone ran to check on the boy, Cass could sense that he was in pain. Alice and Cass were the first two to reach him dusting the glass off him, Cass noticed a piece of glass sticking out of his abdomen, but before she could pull it out she heard the boy's voice in her head.

"Don't. I'll be fine Cass. I promise."

The boy told her, Cass shook her head slightly before standing up.

"I'm holding you to that promise."

Cass told the boy, no one aware that the pair were having a conversation, the boy going to talk to the whole group.

"Hey. I got attacked by the curse. Does that mean I'm part of the coven? Blessings and burdens alike."

The boy asked Cass chuckled lightly punching his shoulder, the boy kind of laughing along with Cass.

"Not a lot of blessings with this group."

Lilia said, Cass couldn't help but agree with them, she literally slowly killed the people she touched, not because she wanted to but because that's what happened.

"Is he okay?"

They heard Jen call out, Cass looking back to see Jen hadn't left the circle that Alice had drawn around her.

"So what? You just live in that circle now?"

Cass scoffed, her and Alice just having helped the boy up, Cass crossing her arms as she shook her head at the selfishness of Jen.

"Maybe."

Jen responded, Cass was not amused by the woman and yet the woman stayed put.

"What's the plan Agatha?"

Rio asked Cass's mother, Cass rolled her eyes of course her mother's former lover would think she was in charge. As Alice and Cass helped the boy back into the area they were in before the pair noticed more instruments had appeared, looking at each other, wide eyed. Agatha noticing the pair staring at the instruments and spoke up.

"You're right. That's the solution."

Agatha said, Alice looking at Cass's mother looking at her like she was crazy while Cass looked like she was admitting defeat.

"No it's not. Cassie back me up here."

Alice said, turning to look at Cass who looked at her sadly,

"I'm sorry Ali. She's right."

Cass said sadly, Agatha laughed, quickly stopping as Cass's head snapped towards her.

"What?"

Teen asked confused,

"We need to play Lorna's ballad."

Agatha said, Alice still not wanting to do it despite it being obvious they had to.

"I'm not playing that song."

Alice told Agatha, Cass knew how much she hated that song, she had no idea what the song truly meant.

"All signs point to a jam sesh."

Agatha said, Cass felt like her mother was taking to much pleasure in this.

"What good will it do? The ballad opens the road. We did that. We're here."

Alice told Agatha, Cass sighed before speaking up,

"Your mother's version was different she wanted something different from the road, Alice."

Cass told her, Alice still looked confused, teen choosing to speak up.
