The Morning After:
Minji stirred awake, her head still resting on Woojin's chest. She smiled to herself, taking in the peaceful sight of him sleeping beneath her. Unable to resist, she leaned in and planted a soft kiss on his lips.
Woojin groaned groggily, blinking awake, only to gasp in horror when he realized Minji was lying on top of him. His eyes widened with panic, and he scrambled away, pressing himself against the headboard.
"Oh my God, Minji... You... you and me... D-did we sleep together?" His hand shot up to cover his mouth in disbelief. "Oh no... this... this is a grave sin!"
Minji burst into laughter. "Woojin, you're so dramatic. All we did was sleep! But don't you remember? You asked me for a goodnight kiss-then a longer kiss," she teased, raising her eyebrows. "You even talked about making me pregnant in the elevator. The boys from your church prayer group were in shock."
Woojin's eyes went impossibly wide. "No, no, no! What have I done?" He gripped his head in despair. "This is immoral! We aren't married yet! How could I say such things?" He gasped. "It's all because of Sungyeol! What did he mix into my drink yesterday? Did he make me drink alcohol? I never drink! How could he do this to me?"
Minji laughed harder, clutching her stomach. "Oh come on, Woojin, you were adorable. You acted like a baby all night. I should thank Sungyeol for this-it's nice to see a version of you that isn't in saint mode all the time."
Woojin groaned and buried his face in his hands. "This is so embarrassing..."
Just then, a knock came at the door.
"Room service!"
Minji hopped out of bed and opened the door, only to find Sungyeol standing there with a smug grin.
"Hey, lovebirds! Hope you had a lovely night!" Sungyeol winked.
Woojin's expression twisted with fury the moment he saw Sungyeol.
"You traitor!" Woojin bellowed. He sprang out of bed and stormed toward Sungyeol, grabbing him by the collar.
"How could you do this to me?! You betrayed me! You made me sin! My dad was right-you're a bad influence!"
Sungyeol stood there nonchalantly, brushing off Woojin's grip like a fly. "Relax, man. All you did was sleep-and maybe kiss. That's it?"
Minji chuckled. "Yep. Woojin just passed out right after kissing me. Slept like a baby."
Sungyeol scoffed and shook his head. "That's it?! I can't believe how hopeless you are, Woojin. Why didn't you do anything else? Don't you think Minji's pretty? You don't find her hot?" He leaned closer, voice dripping with sarcasm. "What is it? Not even sexy enough for you?"
Woojin's face turned beet red. He stammered, "N-no! Minji is pure and beautiful and-" He looked genuinely horrified. "But I have to wait until our wedding! You know, in the Bible it says-" He fumbled, "'Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure...'"
Minji grinned, folding her arms. "Funny, you didn't seem to remember any of that while kissing me. You even said the priest told you it was okay. In fact, you said he was supportive."
Sungyeol laughed. "See? Even the priest wants you to romance your fiancée, Woojin."
Woojin was beside himself. "But it's still not right that we slept together before marriage!"
Sungyeol rolled his eyes. "Exactly. It's not right you just slept together. You should've done more! What kind of man are you?"
"Shut up, Sungyeol!" Woojin snapped. "I need to marry Minji immediately! What if her parents find out?" He began pacing the room in distress. "How will I ever look them in the eye?"
