Amanda - April 20th
Taking to the streets is tough in this type of city. It's always so busy and so crowded, not to mention it's also very heavily guarded. New comers are welcomed with a warm hug but not prepared for the frequent safety checks, metal detectors all over, weapon checks, etc. when I walk into the restaurant I'm greeted with several safety measures and many glares from other people before I can get to the counter. "Heyyy. Could I have that booth right over there with the boss?" I ask in my, as I think of it, enchanting voice. Never works but I can dream. "Oh- OH! YOUR BOSSES FAVORITE KID!! Welcome back Amanda!! Is Jack here as well?" The waiter leads me to my table and sits down with me, putting his hands under us face for balance. "Sadly not, he's currently doing some other stuff, you know, the usual." I smirk at him and look at the same old menu im used to. "I always loved that about you guys, always to rebellious. I'll get the boss right for you." The waiter walks off with my drink and food order as a big, burly man walks toward me. "Hey boss, long time no see."
