Amanda, upper commons, April 25th

"Have people really gotten that much stronger?" I ask as I sit down next to Jack and Mason. I take a bite out of the slimy sandwich that was prepared for me and set it down on my lap. "300 out of 4000 is a giant gap." I manage to say through bites of food. "We don't have to worry really, unless someone charges at Mason. Then we have to panic. We won't be able to take on several people at a time while trying to protect Mason." Jack says taking a sip of his drink. It's a bubbly drink with all the bubbles filled with some sort of a protein. It's gross but makes you stronger than before. "I'm working on it, I am. I just hate the thought of hurting someone." Mason looks down at his almost finished sandwich wearing an almost droopy face. "You're not gonna get anywhere if you can't take out an opponent. We're gonna have to extend your training." Jack is now standing in front of Mason holding out a hand as if to lift him up. "Wait," I say and look at both of the boys. "What if he didn't have to learn how to do hand to hand combat?" I stand up and join them. "We could utilize his stealth and give him a sniper, all we would need to do is create and opening for him to shoot." I look at both of their faces. Masons face is completely pale with Jack seriously considering it. "That could actually work-" Jack grabs Masons hand and pulls him toward our small temporary training room. "Let's see how well you can shoot." I grin and join them.

Later that day~

I slowly make my way through the foggy room, each step softly so I don't make a noise. I slowly start to pull out my knife, my real one this time, and hold it in front of me. A loud bang comes from my left and I duck just barely out of reach from the zooming bullet that was flying towards me. I run to the area where the bullet was shot only to find a bare place with nothing but fog slowly filling it. Out of the corner of my eye I see a small shadow and I lunge towards it only to find a dummy in place of it. I quickly turn around but it's too late, I feel a rubber bullet to my head and I fall backwards, collapsing to the ground. The lights in the room flash on and two people rush to my side. "Amanda?? AMANDA??" My body is slowly jerking up and down but a hand slaps away the arms moving me. "It was a rubber bullet, she'll be fine. Seems like you just found your new weapon." Mason sits looking at the gun next to him and a grin grows on his face. "I guess I have, haven't I." By now I'm sitting up and looking at both of the boys. A small laugh emerges from my mouth and we all end up laughing for the next hour.
