Amanda - Upper Commons, April 24th

"You always looked so good in uniforms, why do I look like garbage?" I wine at Jack who's already changed and ready to go. "You don't look that bad, honestly I mean it! Cross my eye." Mason came along with us with a promise to get him out of here. His family also helped fund us our uniforms and entrance fee. "Thanks, but why did they have to make our pants so long. It's very annoying." I mumble as I try to roll the bottom of my pants up just above my black boots. I never could fit into a skirt, I don't know if I had too wide of a waist or if something didn't look right or even how they made the skirts. But it always looked weird and managed to rip. They make them much different here then in the Real World. "It's only for a few days, then we'll get to the official arena. Mason, do you know how to kill?" He gulps and shakes his head. Of course. People from his family statice never have to worry about that sort of stuff to this never becomes an issue. "Okay then, I guess we'll have to start from the basics then. We have three days to teach you things, listen carefully and practice at night. You wont make it past preliminaries if you don't." I tell him In a stern tone to hopefully try to get the message through, Mason gives me a small laugh but when he meets Jacks face of 'it's true' then he starts to sweat. "I- I can't kill anyone you guys, I can't leave that up to you?" He cracks his knuckles and walks backwards. "It's too late to back out now." I say as Jack interrupts me. "No, you need a certain amount of kills to pass to the next level, but it should be all fine. They're just robots." Jack gives him a re-assuring smile and Mason starts to become less pale. "Alright then, I guess the only way for how to live is to make sure others don't." Mason rolls up his sleeves and gets into a very bad fighting position. "Alright, practice round, believe it or not I have been practicing before hand. I should be able to take down a few robots." He smirks and waves for us to come at him. I pull out my knife but Jack stops me before I can use it. "We still need him alive for the rounds." Jack hisses at me and I put my knife away. "Alright but let me handle this, can you get the papers we need to sign from the back?" He sighs and starts to walk away and when I turn back Mason is already gone from his spot. If there's one thing that's comes out good about Mason is that's he's a good hider. I look around for a little bit before I hear a scattering on the ceiling. I look up and just barely miss him from falling on top of me and crushing my head. "COUGGHH" Mason is out of breath now, he fell and hit his chest right smack in the middle. I slowly walk towards him, crouch down, and flick him on the head as he tumbles to the ground and regains his breath. "Gotcha." I say in a sarcastic tone because I didn't do anything really. Mason stays lying on the floor for a long time time Jack comes back and we fill out our forms.
