Jack, The Same night

A part of me agreed with Kaz. He was surrounded by *thirty* bloodied bodies, and who knows how many more he had accumulated from doing the trials so many times. The other part of me was one only Amanda understood though. Growing up, Fitch was almost a best friend to us, and no doubt we were where he got his skills from. I had chosen to stay uninvolved when he had revealed his true feelings for Amanda, but I knew how broken Fitch was when he had been rejected. Despite everything we had witnessed on that boat, I still believed Fitch was a good person who just needed a team to back him up.
Walking back to the tent, Sparrow caught up to me. "Hey, how do you feel about the hoo- sorry- Fitch joining our team?"
I was silent for a few moments, "I think... I think we can trust him. And if he hurts you then I'll be the first one to hurt him back."
Sparrow blushed as I realized how sappy that sounded, but he smiled back to me and touched my arm, before going back to his tent with Mason. Immediately I was filled with butterflies, did I like Sparrow? I mean he wasn't the ugliest person in the world, tbh he does look pretty good but what if he was just being friendly"
"Hey, you look like you're having a panic attack?" It was Kaz. Would she be jealous if Sparrow and I had started acting flirty?
"Just get some sleep, i'm sure you'll be better in the morning." She smiled and winked, side eyed Fitch, and went back to sleep. As I got back to my tent and layed down, my mind started to cloud over with Sparrow and Kaz now, what was becoming of me!
